Chapter 11

<1 year in the future>

Tyler and I have now been dating for one whole year. So much has happened in this year. We bought a new house. Josh and Debby got married, and Debby got pregnant, and to celebrate this amazing year, Tyler, Josh, debby and I went out to a fancy dinner. I had just finished eating when it happened. I looked over and Tyler was down on one knee. "Haily. I know it's only been a year, but I love you. And I want to spend the rest of my life with you. And I hope you want the same. Haily, will you marry me?" By the time he was finished, I was crying and shaking so much I couldn't talk at all. So I just nodded as he slipped the ring onto my finger and pulled me into a hug, softly kissing my lips. I smiled as he lifted me up and we walked back to the car. The next day, he woke me up early, before the sun came up and I already knew what we were doing. Something id wanted to do my whole life, and I told him. I was right. We hiked up to my favorite place, the Hollywood sign, and sat against the sign, with coffee and breakfast, and watched the sun rise. He's the best thing to ever happen to me.
