prologue

In a small house in the city of Jaipur a girl is seen sitting in her living room sipping on her tea reminiscing her childhood. she is looking at the pictures on the wall. pictures of her and her lifeline her brother Mahi.(Mahendra Singh Oberoi)

flashback

a little girl is playing in the ground in her orphanage . she is just 6 years old. she just lost her family. she doesent remember her family as she suffered an injury in an accident. while playing she saw a boy fell down near the gate of the orphanage. a little boy of 8 years. she ran to help him. the little girl was crying looking at his injury. the boy was shocked by this reaction of her . the girl was none other than Annika and the boy was mahi. mahi seeing tears in her eyes for his pain was very touched. for first time in his life someone cared for him and is worried for him. he immediately felt a connection to her.

A:-dhyan rakhna chahiye tha na apko dekho kitna khoon bah raha hai. yehi ruko mai dawai leke ati hun.

saying this she ran away. he was mesmarised by her so quietly waited for her .

Annika came back and started treating his wound.

M:-tumhara naam kya hai angel?

A:-annika hai. par tum mujhe angel bhi bula sakte ho.

M:-sach mai angel bulau . nahi mai tumhe anu bulaunga.

A:-Anu hmm aise he bulao. par kya hum phirse milinge. mere koi dost nahi hai yaha par kya tum mere dost banoge?

M:-haa ajj se hum dono dost hai . mera bhi koi aur dost nahi hai.

he then saw around and realised he is inside an orphanage and feld sad for his new friend.

from that day mahi and Annika were each others solace.

mahi used to come there everyday to meet her as his chawl is near by.

they knew everything about eachother.

mahi told her about his adoptive mother kamini. how she tortures him etc.

(guys here kamini tells him that he has a twin but his family left him at hospital at his birth as their priest told them that 2 babies would bring trouble to the family . so they asked kamini a nurse at that time in the hospital to kill him . but as she could not kill a baby she adopted him and raised him. that's why he bears all her tortures.)

but ofcourse this is not the truth.(according to Oberoi's the twin baby was born dead)

Annika always used to look after him like her son though he was older than her.

one day when she was 15 years and mahi 17 she went to his house .

(guys kids of orphanage can go out for work or other things after 15 yrs age .so Annika was allowed to go out.)

the scene she saw there shocked her to the core. kamini was hitting mahi with a bamboo stick and in other hand an iron rod which was red hot. with kamini was trying to burn mahis skin .

before she could put the rod on mahi's skin. she came in between and her back got burnt with the rod.

mahi was shocked seeing her there and before he could react Annika took his hand and started to run . kamini chased them for a while and stopped as she thought getting rid of him is better now .but also was shocked seeing a girl protecting him.

here they both ran to her orphanage . she took her belongings . and also the little money she earned and both ran away from the ashram .

since they were kids they planned to run away and live their life away from kamini once mahi turns 18 but now she could not let him live there so they ran away.

they both went to railway station got on the first train which brought them to Jaipur .

they both found a small house in a chawl and working in hotels and dhabas they earned money . they both also went to school with their hard work .

Annika was like a mother to mahi . mahi doesent need to tell her anything one look at his face Annika knows whats wrong.

and for Annika mahi was the family she wanted . mahi is her world . she would not leave anyone who would even think to hurt him. let alone actually hurt him. she cannot bear to see tears in his eyes.

as they grew up Annika was his mentor. now mahi has completed his education and now is a cop DCP of Jaipur.

where as Annika she is a interior designer. but has a wedding planning company which she and mahi started together during their college years before she became an interior designer.

they still run the company . it is very famous now all over the country. but she never expanded the business as she thinks it will affect the quality of her work. she takes up jobs all over India which she personally manages everything. mahi also helps when he can as he is now a cop.

flashback ends

Annika has a smile reminiscing old times.

suddenly she feels weigh on her lap. she turns down to see Mahi is laying down in her lap hugging her waist. she sweetly caresses his head.

A:-kya hua bacha.

M:-Anu kitna time ho gaya na sab piche chod ke . kitna kuch badal gaya humare life mei.

A:-ha mahi, sab badal gaya hai par ache ke liye.

par mahi mai aur bhi badlav chahthi hun.

M:- kya chaiye anu.

A:- mujhe na meri ek pyari behen chahiye.

M:- anu kya bol rahi ho? kya matlab hai tumara?

A:- arre budhu mai tumse tumhare girlfriend ke bare me puch rahi hun.

M:- meri koi girlfriend nahi hai anu . tum janti tho ho sab kuch.

vaise bhi mere liya dulhan na tum hi chunna . tumhari choice perfect hogi.

Annika lovingly kiss his head and say "tumahara kuch nahi ho sakta " ab chalo tumhe office jane me der hogi .

mahi suddenly gets teary eyes and asks

M:- mera bhai kaise hoga anu.

khush tho hoga na .

uske upar kuch din Pehle hi jan leva hamla hua tha. use kuch hoga tho nahi na.

A:- jab tak hum dono hai use kuch nahi hoga. hum khayal rakh lenge mahi. tension mat lo.

M:- hmm mai use kuch hoone nahi dunga.jaise ab tak khayal rakha agee bhi rakunga.

(guys mahi always looks after shivaay from afar after he became a DCP .he save him before hand whenever someone try to kill him but never comes in front of him.)
