Unexpected Guest

14- "Oops I did it again."

"That wasn't a good prank. It was heartbreaking and not funny!"

He chuckles while I glare at him daring him to laugh again.

With a smirk on his face, he answers.

"It was a good comeback, am I right?"

"I hate you!"

I proceed to launch an attack on him by tackling him to the ground but end up falling onto him.

He holds my face with his hand and I'm stuck in a trance once again somehow.

My phone's ringtone brings us both back to reality before I push him away and get up to check who called.

Looking to the caller, I see Zeno and before I could answer the call ends.

Damn it.

I forgot.

I'm such an idiot for leaving him there, in between our meal.

That was so rude on my part and I didn't even realise.

I face palm myself before Zero walks closer to me.

"Is it Zeno on the phone? Do you miss each other?"

Rolling my eyes and pushing him away, I call Zeno.

There was one ring before he answered and before he spoke I was non stop waffling.

"I am so sorry Zeno. I didn't mean to leave you like that, it was all just so real and fake and what not. I believed it when I shouldn't have because it was from Zero's mouth and I shouldn't have left you. I should've just told you bef-"

A sudden yell from the phone stops me from continuing to waffle.

"Ivy!"

It was Zeno.

"Listen, I'm extremely s-"

"Sorry, yeah I know you are, you said it like a lot of times. I forgive you now will you stop?"

A smile appears on my face before I answer him.

"Yes!"

My voice beamed with happiness while Zeno chuckles on the phone probably realising what I was doing considering I whisper-screamed 'yes.'

"Let's be friends."

The words left my lips so fast it felt weird but then he seemed chill about it.

"Cool, I'm in the friend zone but I'll try when I get my chances to change it."

This caused a laugh out of me and we said our goodbyes and ended the call.

"Ivy. Ivy. Ivy."

Zero calls out to me but I try to ignore but then when I turn to him to ask what he just leaves.

No questions asked.

No sneaky comment.

Nothing.

Catching up to him, I ask him.

"What's wrong?"

He answers very plainly and with no emotion.

"It's none of your business."

He's very up and down, wonder what's with him all the time.

"Can I ask you something?"

"What?"

Such an aggressive tone, like I was so polite and not even that loud.

"Are you bipolar?"
