•Chapter III•

"I want a Mohawk!"

"Titan, you don't want a mohawk."

"I want... I want hair like daddy."

"Papa, can you grow your hair out?" Aki asked.

"No. It violates company dress code," I replied. "Let's buy this stuff, get these haircuts, and get Eren some interview outfits."

"Can you cut hair?" Eren asked me, "I can cut Titan's, but not so much my own. It's just cheaper, y'know?"

"Papa cuts his own hair," Aki mentioned.

Eren hummed, "Cut mine?"

"I can try..."

"Mr. Levi, am I going to get my hair cut by you?" Tobias asked.

"Long like your dad's?" I asked for confirmation.

"Papa, can I get the same haircut as you too?" Aki asked.

"I like your hair the way it is, Aki," I told her. "If you really want to though. You won't be able to have your pigtails anymore."

Aki's eyes widened and she touched her pigtails. "Never mind."

"Like daddy's." Tobias confirmed.

"Thank you," Eren said sincerely. "I'm just leeching off of you completely."

I chuckled. "That's fine."

"To get Mr. Eren interview clothes!" Aki pointed.

"Interview clothes!" Tobias buzzed.

Eren sighed, "Interview clothes... expensive, pricey interview clothes."

"Stop complaining." I cuffed him.

"Hurry up so we can eat ramen." Aki adjusted the bags in her hands.

Eren nodded, following Aki and me, with Tobias in tow, to the suit shop. "Is ramen your favorite food?"

"I like all kinds of food."

Tobias grinned. "I like chocolate."

Eren walked into the shop. "Am I hallucinating those zeros?"

I started massaging his shoulders. "Sshhh."

"I wish I was hallucinating them." He said quietly, slowly relaxing and taking deep breaths.

"Just get something."

"Levi," he whined, "can you pick one instead? And, I dunno, hide the price tag when you give it to me?"

"Adults aren't supposed to whine, Mr. Eren," Aki shook her head. "He's my papa, not yours."

"Fathers aren't supposed to end up on the street, Aki." He replied, "Life just sucks. I'm sorry though, he's your papa and not mine."

"Pick this one!" Tobias shouted, his hands around a black suit and tie, with a plain white shirt. "This is nice!"

Eden moved over, looking at the price tag. "How expensive are suits supposed to be?"

"An amount."

"Papa has a closet full of suits pretty much," Aki explained. "You have to be really formal as a lawyer."

"'Kay, so Mr. Levi is super cool?"

"Yeah, Titan, Levi is super cool." Eren replied, "He worked really hard for what he has."

"How much is three zeros?" Tobias asked Aki.

"Is there a decimal or a coma?" She asked.

"The one with the tail."
