Chapter 16 - Reality

Stacey's P.O.V
*No thoughts just darkness*

Trent's P.O.V

    I get a call from Stacey's parents when I am driving to Starbucks. They told me that Stacy is in the hospital. That some guy named Bryan dropped her off and is now  waiting patiently for me to get there. I was almost to Starbucks when I got that call and immediately turned around a speed down the highway. Good thing Starbucks was close to the hospital.

    I run into the hospital and find her parents and Bryan waiting there. When I walk up her parents come up to me and hug me. I just start crying and then they start crying. I was balling my eyes out but I mean that hurt because I love Stacey more than anything in this world and I would do anything for her. I just want to see her. Suddenly the doctors appear. I dont know what to feel.

    "She is aloud to have visitors now," the doctor said sternly. "What is her room number?" I say sounding very impatient but that's because I miss her. I practically run to her room. When I see her I see her bandages. I notice that her parents give me a minute with her alone. I shut the door and pull up a chair right by her. Then it all comes rushing out. "Stacey you dont understand I'm so sorry for everything that I have done I should have been more careful and should have just gone and found you. I should have never let Jessica dance with me, and I should have danced with you instead my real queen. I know that I have hurt you and I understand if you dont want to be with me anymore, but please I need to know that you're okay. I just love you so much Stacey and I wish I could take back last night so much it hurts. I would do anything for you just because you asked me too. I hope you know that. Just please come back to me baby." All of this came rushing out and then her parents came in and I left then alone to go talk to Bryan..

    I sat down and looked at him. He had sorrow in his eyes but it doesn't make up for what he did. Me and Stacey have had sex before but he could have just helped Stacey instead of ruining  our prom night more than it was. "What happened?" I say trying very hard to keep my cool. Then he went on explaining to me that he didn't know she was cut and that he took her here as soon as he knew she was cut. I didn't believe him but can you really expect me to? He said something that made ne mad like really mad. "Don't worry I won't be going after her, she wasn't THAT good, he said with a tone I didn't like and emphasized that. I was so close to punching him when Stacey's mom said that she was awake. And I sprinted to her room.

Stacey's P.O.V

    I open my eyes to see my parents hovering above me and my mother crying. "Mom?" I said very quietly. "Oh Stacey your awake," She says and hugs me. Then she runs out the room saying she is going to get Trent. I dont know if I'm ready to see him. He thought I couldn't hear him when he was telling me everything but I could and I still remember it..
*Memory from moments ago*

    "Stacey you dont understand I'm so sorry for everything that I have done I should have been more careful and should have just gone and found you. I should have never let Jessica dance with me, and I should have danced with you instead my real queen. I know that I have hurt you and I understand if you dont want to be with me anymore, but please I need to know that you're okay. I just love you so much Stacey and I wish I could take back last night so much it hurts. I would do anything for you just because you asked me too. I hope you know that. Just please come back to me baby."
He said that to me and now I feel guilty... my dad hugs me and asks if I feel okay and tells me to never EVER scare him like that again. I giggle but it hurts so I stop. Then he walked in...

    My parents left to give us some space which I was thankful for. He walked over to me and just hugged me. Does he not know what happened? I hug him back but then ask him "Why are you happy to see me do you not know of what I did?" I ask unsure. "Yes i know about you and Bryan," he says in a hurt tone. "I know about Jessica," I say awkwardly. "I know and in so sorry," he says while starting to cry. "Hey look at me," I say confidently, "We both messed up not just you. Then he connected our lips. I just love him so much it hurts a little. I know we will get through this it will just take some time to heal the wounds.

~*I week later*~

Stacey's P.O.V

    I finally got out of the hospital but thanks to Trent I have healed. Their is still a scab, but in time it will just be a scar. We forgave each other, I think, well i know i forgave him.

Trent's P.O.V

    Stacey is out of the hospital and we are staying I our own apartment for now which I enjoy having her all to myself. I have been helping her heal her wound by continuously changing her bandages and giving her medicine, she look a lot better now and she has a scab where she was cut. But hopefully it will scar soon. I know she doesn't fully believe that I forgive her but I forgave her when I kissed her at the hospital, so she has nothing to worry about and I just hope she forgives me which I think she does I just dont know 100%.

A/N: So I know that there is a but of a change in how I an writing or the "style" of the way it's set up but I think I like it better set up this way so I might keep it I dont know but yeah. I'm glad that i have written something on the longer side for once.
