"He pulls it off well" Hvitserk joked, bringing a thrall in to assist with Ivar's hair for the ceremony.

"He does look rather Viking like" Ivar admired as he nodded "if you wish for your hair to be braided, then we can get it braided" Ivar insisted. Ubbe taking his place and slowly partitioning Elwin's hair for braids. His fingers working the plaits into his hair.

"Thank you Ubbe" Elwin sighed happily.

"It is quite all right little man" Ubbe laughed. The thrall almost finishing with Ivar's hair, as he looked at himself one more time. Finally, the nerves reaching the surface within him. Admiring the hair and the wedding tunic, he smiled to himself. All that was missing was Kendra by his side, which he reminded himself would not be too long.

He used his crutches to support himself, Ubbe finally finishing with Elwin's hair as he smiled to him.

"Did Kendra receiver her crown?" Ivar asked as Elwin nodded.

"Just as I left" Elwin smiled.

"We have father's sword?" Ivar asked, looking to Ubbe as he was the last one with the sword after his own wedding.

"It is in the box, I will carry it with me for the ceremony" Ubbe replied with a nod.

"Everything is ready, are you ready to go?" Hvitserk smiled as he stood by the door.

"I think we are all set" Ivar gave the room one last look, finally happy and content with how life has turned out. How he owed so much to Kendra, knowing he would not do anything to upset her again. The men finally let the house, Ivar moving step by step through the town. The flower arch finally in sight before him, the nerves flurrying through him. Ivar took a breath to calm his nerves as he made his way to stand before it. Patiently awaiting the arrival of Kendra, word having been sent to her to make her way to the ceremony.

Hvitserk and Ubbe were the first to look, Hvitserk giving you a grin, his head nodding subtly. While Ubbe placed a hand on Ivar's shoulder.

"She's almost here, she looks incredible" Ubbe whispered in Ivar's ear. Kendra could see Ivar nod slightly at his words. Kendra took the final two steps standing, the equivalent of a priest in her world nodded at her, giving her a smile. Kendra smiled back, letting out a long breath, trying to calm her nerves. Repeating to herself how she had already married him, not to be so worried. It was when Kendra felt Ivar take her hand in his, her heart began to slow to a steady beat. Kendra turned to look at him, her grip tightening around his hand; telling him she was okay. Ivar let out a sigh, as he smiled. His blue eyes taking in the look of her. In the moment, it felt as if they had all the time in the world, with no one around but the two of them. His lips tugged at a smile, his eyes glistening white, but the blue in his looked clearer and brighter than usual.
