That night, Jimin tossed and turned in bed. He clenched his hands tightly and pulled his knees up to his chest before waking abruptly - he still felt the same as yesterday, if not more uneasy since now he could actually recall some of the dream.

Jimin:
Hey Tae?

Are you awake?

Taehyung:
Yep!

What's up?

Jimin:
You know I mentioned about having a nightmare this morning?

Taehyung:
Yeah??

Jimin:
I think I just had the same one

But this time I remember some of it

Taehyung:
Do you want to talk about it?

Jimin:
If you wouldn't mind listening?

Taehyung:
Of course!

Jimin:
Thank you

Well, most of it is just a blur

A lot of it just melds together and it's all very patchy

But the one thing I do remember is seeing a girl

Taehyung:
Like a girl in a horror movie?

Jimin:
No nothing like that

Just a girl

She seemed sweet but she didn't look happy

All I remember is asking her to stop but she just said she really needed to go to school

I had this horrible feeling as she walked away - like I had to do something more

And then something horrible happened to her

Taehyung:
I'm listening

Jimin:
I watched as she crossed the road and a car hit her head-on. It was horrific

Taehyung:
Oh gosh, I'm so sorry

Jimin:
You don't think it means anything, do you?

Taehyung:
Hmm

Well dreams are weird things

You may be overworking yourself

Just rest up and let's hope those dreams go away soon

Jimin:
Alright

Thanks

I'll talk to you soon

Taehyung:
Goodnight!

It took Jimin a while but he eventually went back to sleep. The thought of the girl kept filling his mind, he couldn't recognise her but he felt like he needed to do something to save her - he just didn't know what.

As the days and nights went on - to Jimin's dismay - the nightmares were not stopping. In fact, they were getting worse each night. Every morning he would wake up with a start, only to recall what other horrors he dreamed that night. Every night he saw that girl get hurt in different ways.

It wasn't all terrible though - on some occasions he found that he had managed to stop her from doing something or going somewhere, which meant she wouldn't get hurt. But every time that happened, he always woke when he was either too late to help or when something unexpected came along. Though, there was something even more odd about the dreams - he didn't know how or why but as the days past, the more he felt like he knew this girl.

He felt like they shared some kind of bond that he was unaware of - something he couldn't quite place. Finally, as Wednesday was coming to an end, Jimin headed to bed - the dread of having a nightmare again made it hard to enjoy the little rest he got. But he had hope that things would get better soon and he gently drifted off to sleep.

On Thursday morning Jimin woke suddenly, but not the same way as the last few nights. This time he had a hint of hope in his heart. He rushed to grab his phone and message Taehyung with the latest dream update.

Jimin:
Tae! I know it's early but we need to talk!

Taehyung:
What's up?? Did it happen again?

Jimin:
Kind of

Not really but

Well let me explain

Taehyung:
Alright, I'm all ears

Jimin:
It's going to sound weird but I heard her voice

Taehyung:
The girl?

Jimin:
Yes, well I think so

She told me that something was going to happen today

That it was all going to be ok

That SHE was ok

That I helped her

Taehyung:
That's good!

Jimin:
I think it's a sign that it's all over

That I'll be able to sleep properly now

Taehyung:
That's a relief!

Jimin:
Thank you for listening to me talk about this stuff

Taehyung:
It's fine! I'm here for you

Jimin:
Thank you

Jimin put down his phone soon after - his heart feeling more full than it had in the past few days. He started feeling normal again, but then he saw a flash from his phone - he figured one of the members had messaged him again, so he didn't pick up too quickly.

He looked at the number and it wasn't anyone he recognised...But he read it anyway.
