Sooo...this is an interesting one.
I always hated that LOST had literally ZERO anime fan art so I decided to fix that...with mixed to positive results. I'm not THAT experienced drawing anime sooo here are my thoughts on each one!
Sun - very pretty but she doesn't look Asian enough
Juliet- accidentally too tall
Ben: Oh my gosh, where to START with Anime Ben. He looks like a 40-year-old sociopathic child from a Tim Burton movie. Both the best and worst thing I have ever done.
Claire: adorable but her eyes are WAY too big
Desmond- My husband, too gorgeous for this world. So proud of the facial hair
Kate: Also gorgeous but she wasn't supposed to look that sad, dang inking
Charlie: awwwwWWWWWW POSSIBLY MY FAVORITE
Sawyer: not close up enough but pretty hot
overall I'm pretty proud of it and I feel like I got better as I went on.
So for the next few weeks I will not be posting any LOST-related fan art, as I am taking a break in order to keep my LOST obsession in check (lol). This is why I've briefly stopped regularly posting in Calling All Losties. This will give me some time to focus on making art for other shows I now love such as Person of Interest and Broadchurch, as well as some surprises along the way! Not to worry, I still plan to continue my LOST portrait collection in 2019 however (after all, I haven't drawn a Des portrait yet!)
On a side note, my Michael Emerson letter arrived in LA the other day! (Meaning my precious Benjamin Linus drawing is now all the way across the country:( )I wonder if he's read it yet...I will let y'all know as soon as (if) he responds!
