VANESSA STOPPED QUESTIONING      things many many years ago after her mother brought home a piano that set her back five thousand dollars. She stopped asking questions after a new hobby would pop up every other week, it was no secret that her mother went through activities like potato chips. In the beginning it was difficult to keep up with her mother's shifting moods and constant distractions but after she stopped demanding answers she found herself enjoying said activities that her mother dragged her and her sister along to.

'Everything that's meant to be will happen, just go with the flow' she could remember her mother telling her—enlightened after her first meditation. And while her mother was over it the following week something had stuck with Vanessa, things happen for a reason. Her life was written in the stars long ago which was exactly why she didn't protest to moving to Forks, Washington. She knew that it was her fate to go live with Charlie... she had no clue just how right she'd been.
