"Now we know why you've been experiencing such heart palpitations." Medic looked into the distance longingly. "Ah, love sickness. The deadliest of them all." Heavy gulped. Medic smiled crazily. "There's only one remedy; go, tell her. And be quick!" Heavy's heart thudded faster than it ever had before. Was this truly it? Was he in love with you? His heart was beating out of his chest. He was confused as to why he had to be quick, though. You usually sat in your room to read most of the day anyways, so why would he have to hurry? He was nervous too. Why rush?
He stepped out of Medic's lab with the pit of his stomach swirling with butterflies.
"Man up, Mikhail. Is only (Y/n). She wouldn't laugh."
He was making his way slowly down the long white halls, turning corner after corner until he came upon the rooms hall. His stomach was tying itself in knots at this point as he walked further and further.
"Stomach should be filled with sandwich, not flying insects..." He murmured to himself. Walking down the hall all doors were closed except for yours. He finally reached your room and knocked lightly on the wood, resounding in nothing in return but the slight movement of the door. Not a 'yes who is it,' not a 'one moment please,' nothing. He creaked the door open a little more and peeped inside. What he saw horrified him.
Books were stranded haphazardly. Blankets on your bed gone. Dresser drawers pulled out and emptied, save for a few discarded garments strewn on the floor.
The whole base shook. The 7 men sitting around on the main floor, playing poker and drinking, shot up with great speed to grab their weapons. It seemed like it was an earthquake, an attack, something horribly wrong, and everyone braced as the thudding grew closer to the rec room, guns pointed at the door, cigars put out. The door burst open as Heavy barreled through, smashing the door in the process and sending little chips of wood flying. Scout shrieked like a little girl as all the men cocked their guns to shoot.
"(Y/n)!?" Heavy shrieked. The men put down their arms, confused.
"Yo, don't do that, man!" Scout shouted, getting out of his karate-like defense position. He threw his gun down on the ground angrily and left the room, his masculinity threatened by the stares of the other team members.
Heavy simply kept shouting. He was hectic, in absolute hysterics, going on and on about the BLU's, (Y/n), Russian thrown into his sentences inconstantly.
"Calm down, Heavy! Tell us what's bothering ya, I'm sure we can hel- agh!" Engineer had approached the pacing giant, attempting at getting him to stop moving around the room with worry plastered to his face. No sooner than his gloved arm making contact with Heavy did he get practically flung across the room with a /heavy/ blow, hitting the wall and making drywall dust puff up around the fresh Engineer-shaped dent.
"What the hell, Heavy?!" Sniper yelled.
"(Y/n)'s been kidnapped!!" Heavy was extremely stressed.
"What?!" Engineer said, trying to get up but gasping in pain, sliding back against the wall. "Pyro go get Medic. The rest of y'all, we gotta go save (Y/n)!" Engineer shouted and everyone was on board, murmuring agreement and reloading their weapons. They all followed Heavy as he stormed through the broken doors, determined to save (Y/n), while Medic rushed into the room with a grin. As Heavy left he could hear him exclaim, "Ooh, you've broken a bone!"

Flames erupted around him and charred more of the already crumbling building as Heavy barreled through BLU lockers, knocking them over on top of the enemy Pyro. His shrieks were drowned out by Heavy's enraged shouts. Spy suddenly appeared next to Heavy, shouting, "The building is falling. Rendezvous, now!" He then turned to run, disappearing in the flames. Heavy wasn't done yet. He moved the BLU lockers aside with great force and found the enemy Pyro, lifting his limp but still breathing body up and throwing him through the wall, creating a hole where black smoke escaped. Heavy jumped out the hole, and seeing his target trying to rush away, caught him by the neck.
"Where is she?!" Heavy could only hear muffled shouts, and, growing frustrated, ripped off his gas mask to reveal a man with orange hair and burn scars.
"I said... I said I don't know!" He shouted, wheezing and hacking. Heavy threw him aside, discarding him in anguish. The anger burning red in his chest was slowly building down. The structure around him was becoming more and more unstable and by now everyone should've been out due to Spy's warnings. He needed to get out of there.
"Liar!" He shouted in one last fuming retort, barreling out of the BLU base just as it started to fully crumble and collapse, flames erupting and licking out of every crevice as it crumpled. He saw the huddle of REDs regrouping and quickly joined them.
"Did anyone find out anything?" He asked, sweat dripping from his bruised and charcoal-smeared face. Everyone solemnly shook their heads. Heavy collapsed onto his knees, burying his head in his hands. He muttered some Russian words, not daring to look at the pity ridden faces of his teammates. Sniper took of his hat, laying it on his chest.
"What in blazes happened here?!" Heavy heard a familiar voice. He shook it off. He must be hearing things.
"Okay, but, what the actual HELL?!" It sounded again, just as angry and familiar as the first time. Heavy jolted his head up, whipping around to face the speaker. His eyes welled up with tears to see his little (Y/n), safe and sound, adorably angry and tapping her foot. He pushed up to his feet, tripling and stumbling, trying not to blubber with how happy he was to see you. He finally made it to you, and opened his arms, wrapping them around you warmly and lifting you up, squeezing you tightly to him like he would never let go again. Especially not after what happened. You on the other hand were not happy. You pushed against him and squirmed until he let you go, landing neatly on your feet. That's when he noticed Scout. And Engineer. And Medic. All standing there, angry as you, scowling.
"A little birdy said that (Y/n) wasn't really kidnapped." Engineer started, hobbling on his crutch. His leg was in a white cast and Heavy flinched sheepishly under his glare.
"Yeah," Scout spoke up, "According to doctor egghead (Y/n)'s been on vacation all dis time. Was quite a shock when she came waltzing on into base, asking me where everyone was at." Heavy's face was starting to go red and he caught your gaze before quickly averting his eyes.
"I told you, Heavy! Don't you remember?" You walked up to the awkward man, reaching up and grabbing his chin, tilting his face towards you. You couldn't help but melt when you realized just how much he had worried. But you held stern. "Heavy, dear... I'm flattered. But you just destroyed the BLU's base. As much as we hate them, wouldn't you hate if that happened to you?" Heavy couldn't help but chuckle. "What's so funny?"
"You. You are so compassionate, even to the enemy." He felt the warmth in his chest again and remembered what he had set out to do by Medic's urging. It all came rushing back and he looked down at you, your sparkling eyes, and your soft lips. "May I kiss you?" He asked. It caught you off guard.
"M-may you what?" You asked. "Heavy, we're having a serious conversation, y-"
"May I kiss pretty (Y/n)?" He cooed. Your heart melted. You didn't realize you'd missed him too. His hugs, his warm smell, talking all the time.
"Hmmm." You said, your cold face melting into a smirk. "Da."
