Same, but Different

•Chapter II•

Titan watched the two of us interacting, pulling open Aki's door. 

"In your dreams," Levi laughed.

Aki thanked Titan and helped him buckle his seatbelt.

"These things are cool," Titan murmured to himself quietly before looking up. "I always used to see them on the roads but they're cooler inside."

"They are, aren't they?" I replied, "And why only my dreams, you not into men?" I raised a brow, interested. I personally couldn't care less, but Levi I had no clue about. I guess it'd be awkward if he didn't support that kind of thing if I ended up with a guy.

"I have no idea. Never been attracted to one." Levi hummed. "Love is love though and I wouldn't discount my feelings because they happened to be for a member of the same sex."

"That's good to know," I said. "It means you won't ever kick out Titan and I over any sexuality stuff."

"Are you gay, Eren?" Levi asked. "You're awfully hung up over something as trivial as where your penis goes."

"A penis is a private part right?" Aki asked. "It's what the sperm comes out of?"

"She knows a lot." I commented, surprised. "But yes, that is correct, Aki."

"Do I have a penis?" Titan asked, and I laughed loudly.

"Yes, Titan, you do." I responded, "And Levi, my fianceé and Titan's other parent was female, and I myself am not gay. I'm just not straight either."

"Good to know?" Levi shook his head, stopping at a red light. "You're still the same brat."

"Papa, have you fallen in love since the bitch?" Aki asked.

My mouth dropped open. "Language!"

"What's a bitch?"

"A bad word, don't use it, Titan." I replied.

"But Aki can!" He whined.

"Tough."

Titan pouted, sulking until he spoke again, "Well, have you fallen in love since Mommy?"

"Not yet, Titan." I replied, "Who knows if I ever will."

"I hope you do," He hummed, "I want Daddy to smile more again."

"I do too." Aki sighed.

Levi chuckled. "Just don't say that word at school. It's fine. It's what we call her 'mother.'" The raven thought a while. "No. I haven't fallen in love yet. I'm sorry."

Aki's features softened. "It's okay."

"Why don't you both fall in love with each other!" Titan suggested happily, and I almost choked.

"T-Titan, it's not something you just turn on." I tried to explain to the boy who was getting excited in the back seat.

"I want you both to be my daddy!" He chirped, "Mr. Levi, you should be Daddy too!"

"It doesn't work like that. It's a bunch of chemicals," Aki explained. "Papa needs to find Mr. Eren comforting, safe, interesting, and sexy."

"And that isn't going to happen, Titan." I added.

He frowned, puffing up his cheeks. "Why not? Don't you think Mr. Levi is sexy?"

"Levi is very handsome, but that doesn't mean we'll instantly like each other, and it doesn't mean he finds me handsome too. It's very complicated, Titan." I couldn't figure out how to explain properly, so I sort of babbled. "Mommy and I were a very rare case, it's not easy to fall in love."
