Characteristics:

Arrogant to an extent, Requiem has not lost his sense of humanity despite his many centuries upon the earth. He is soft spoken, quick witted, with some military background from being a part of The Council's assassin team and The Guard. He values all life, but is quick to dish out punishment to anyone who harms his family or friends. Still very much kind-hearted, he tends to hid his true feelings and tries to always put forth a face of composure with a hard exterior.

A Brief History:

Formerly a poet before he was embraced, he became an apprentice with The Council as the one who wrote the requiem masses given upon the death of any immortal. Sanctioned by The Council, Requiem was also the one who gave the Last Rites to those vampires marked for assassination.

After his apprenticeship with The Council, Requiem continued to work with the assassin squads giving Last Rites to those marked for assassination by The Council from approximately 1535 to 1650. It was during this time he learned to fight, learned basic military infrastructure and operations, and began training as a member of The Council's inner military known as The Guard. He stayed with The Guard until the late 1800s when he retired to Shadow Cove to pursue his interests in literature and pop culture.

He would later go on to found The Red Fang in the late 1970s, starting out as a disco bar and roller rink before reinventing the nightclub several times over the decades. In the early 2000s, when humans became aware of the supernatural entities surrounding them, the bar not only became a safe haven for the paranormal, but it eventually became the first bar in the country to allow a safe feeding ground for vampires who were looking for willing donors to feed on for the evening. This started a cultural movement within the supernatural and human communities, allowing the humans to interact with the vampires without fear of being killed. This movement would continue on even after the Paranormal Civil Wars were fought and lost. Despite the supernatural entities being forced to live in secret once again, the vampire bars were still being operated throughout the country.
