Everly couldn't see anything with her hands tied up and a black bag over her head. All she knew was that she was no longer in the house. They had driven them somewhere.

She heard talking in the distance which meant that there was somebody else in the room with her.

She wondered what Jeremiah would do to her. Kill her? It surely was the only way now that he probably had no use for her anymore. She had broken from the insanity gas. And, since she probably never meant anything to him, he would have no problem getting rid of her.

She tried to move when she felt there was something beside her. In an attempt to check what it was she kicked it.

"Ow!"

"Bruce?" She whispered, it sure
sounded like him.

"Yeah, it's me, are you ok, you're not hurt?"
Bruce asked with worry in his voice.

"I'm fine, I'm scared, but I'm fine" She
replied in which sounded more of her convincing herself than an actual answer.

As she sat there in silence she couldn't help
but feel the heartbreak over Jeremiah kissing someone else. She didn't like what he had become but still, she would probably always have feelings for him. She would always love him. On top of that, the city would soon
blow up and it pained her that she could
do nothing about it.

Footsteps drew nearer as she heard them stop up close to her. A person grabbed her by the arms rather harshly and started to drag her with them. She heard the same happen to Bruce, except he was trying to fight it.

"Let go off me, asshole" She yelled out as
she tried to kick whoever was holding her.
It was to no use. Ones again she could
do nothing.

They abruptly stopped up and someone dragged the bag off her face. As she glanced around her surroundings she could see Bruce being held by two men, his bag off too, and Jeremiah standing in front of the two of them.

He walked over to Ras'al ghul and that
was when she understood it was about to happen. She felt her whole body tremble
with anxiousness not to mention sadness.
She was sad for what was about to happen to the future, to Gotham, and all its citizens.

As Bruce looked over at the two of them
she could see shock written all over his
face and briefly after he yelled out,
"It's true, how did you two-"

"Find each other? I'd like to think it
was you, Bruce, you brought us together"
Ras' al Ghul answered with sick proudness.

The men holding Bruce and her led them
closer to him and Jeremiah who was standing by a glass window with perfect sight out
on the beautiful city. Her home.

"I trust things went smoothly?"
Ras' al Ghul asked Jeremiah.

"Like clockwork" he answered confidently.
"Did your men retrieve my bombs?"

"They are on route in their
positions as we speak"

"Jeremiah, please don't do this" She begged, hoping it would somehow speak to the old Jeremiah who she thought might still
lay deep within him.

He turned away from the window,
looking her straight into her eyes
coldly as he walked up to her.

"I see the insanity gas didn't work out,
what a pity" He said taking some of her
hair behind her ear causing her to flinch.
"There's always a plan B, though"

Plan B? What the hell was that
supposed to mean?

All focus then landed on Bruce as both of
them stood on each his side, dragging him towards the window. "From here we can take in the full majesty of Gotham's destruction"
