Your quirks

You did things,
but you didn't know that you were doing them.
There were things you only did when no one was there.
When you were comfortable, you'd stretch out.
But when there were stangers, you'd curl up.
When you liked someone, you touched your neck.
When you hated someone, you tapped your foot.
And of course,
when you were nervous, you moved.
When you were worried, you cooked.
When you were stressed, you never slept.
You often asked if everything was alright,
you often apologised without reason.
These things stopped when it was just us.
But with time, you grew more and more silent.
Until, all at once, you'd never speak again.
