{ Chapter 1 }

(y/n) (l/n)  is a very bright student, adding to that she has almost everything; drop dead gorgeous looks, beautiful and juicy locks and you can't forget about those eyes, those darn eyes. Why almost everything? Because she lacked one thing. She didn't have him.  Being one of Hogwarts brightest and smartest witch of her age everyone had high expectations of her even him. Tom Marvolo Riddle. Prefect, Head Boy, Slughorn's favorite student, the heir to Slytherin he had it all. Bu he too wanted more.

"Pst, Pst, hey wake up (y/n)!" Said Theodora, (y/n) best friend since her arrival at the school, "get up so we can go to the Great Hall early, we need to discuss something, over breakfast. Get up already you lazy witch!" "Fine ok I'm up!"  Answered (y/n). She got up of her bed and got dressed into her slytherin robe, she put on her scarf as it was pretty chilly outside. She glanced out of the window and saw the sun starting to come up, its ray warmly kissed her cheeks and when she was finally done getting ready, she stepped out the dorm taking one last look at the beautiful ball of fire.

When Theodora  and (y/n) walked down the stairs to the common room, they were surprised to find it crowded despite the fact that it was still very early in the morning. When passing by to get out of that place (y/n) looked to her right and saw, sitting by the fireplace a raven haired boy with silky locks  curled up reading about- horcruxes. What was even a horcrux? (y/n) wondered. while walking by she then guessed it, the smell of pleasant vanilla mixed with a note of peppermint and to add to that a medium perfume of cologne. Tom. When she was waling past him she took one last turn towards the fireplace and saw his prefect badge glistening with the lights of the fire crackling in front of him.

When they arrived the Great Hall stood before them, candles were out as morning was starting to rise and no artificial light was needed, all the professors were already up and they were peacefully chatting and enjoying their breakfast talking about nothing and everything. (y/n) and her friend sat at the slytherin table, which was fairly crowded, a saying at Hogwarts would go like; "the earlier you come, the more deliciousness you'll eat". Before saying a word to each other the witches put some food on their plate and started eating when Theodora raised her voice, "(y/n), Abraxas Malfoy, told me that danger runs this school. He told me something about a certain chamber of secrets and how it's been secretly hidden in this exact school for centuries! From what abraxas told me the only person who can open it is a person who can speak Parseltongue. Yeah that weird language that you can use to speak to snakes, what the use of it anyways? I tired to find book on how and where to learn that speaking but i can't find it anywhere! Not even the restricted section." she said the last part in a whisper, "and by the way, I think we can trust Abs because he told me he got the information from a 'close source'", she told her friend. "Abs? You call THE Abraxas Malfoy, Abs? Oh my Theo, have you got a liking for goldy locks?" (y/n) said with a smirk plastered on her face, "Oh shush it, it's better than you and Riddle anyways-" she said rolling her eyes before being stopped by (y/n) with her hands covering her mouth. "Don't talk about me and Riddle in the Great Hall Theo, you know how I get," (y/n) whisper-yelled at her, "besides, what's the thing about the chamber of secrets anyways? Why does it seems like you're scared of it?" she asked Theodora. "Well, it's because when that person opens the chamber it will release the most ferocious and cruel thing ever, it says that the chamber of secret is home to a creature called the Basilisk, an enormous snake that can kill anyone within a single glace, and that person need to be feared because one of his motives is he wants to release the beast to create chaos upon the school, so it can kill muggles." she said in a low voice, fearing other students or professors might hear her, "the thing that I'm afraid about is not that it will kill muggles, that's the least of my concerns, but what if it kills other than muggles? The snake will literally kill anything on its path. Better not wonder at night then." She finished. "Well, who would you meet at night anyways?" (y/n) asked with a smile on her face clearly knowing the answer. (y/n) and her friend continued eating in the Hall, while changing the subject every now or so, and they would even laugh their lungs out and smile their faces off. But she still couldn't take her mind off it. The infamous Chamber of Secrets. Who on earth could and would open it? Where in the castle was it? Little did she know that her thoughts where being heard by the boy at the far end of the table. Tom Riddle was using legilimency on (y/n) and he was determined to follow her every move from now on.
