"Can you turn the light out, doll?" Bucky asked one night.

     "Why should I do that, Buck?"

     "Because you love me?"

      "Hmmm."

     "Please, doll?"

      "I dunno, Buck."

      "C'mon, sugar. For me?"

       "Ugh. Fine." You ran over and turned the lights off before running back and jumping into the bed.

      "Thanks, doll," he said before rolling over and throwing an arm across your waist and pulling you into his chest.

     "Do you just know doll and sugar?"

     "What?" he asked in confusion.

     "I mean, you just call me doll and sugar. Do you not wish for variation? For change?"

     Bucky chuckled and kissed your temple. "I guess I could call you darlin'," he mused.

     "Anything else?"

     "Sweetie? Honey?"

     "And I could call you smoochie bear but I don't, do I?"
 
     "So no sweetie or honey," he laughed. "What about sweetheart?"

     "Sure," you replied.

     "Okay, sweetheart," he whispered, and you laughed.

     After a few minutes, he asked, "What about me?"

     "What about you?" you asked, turning over to face him.

     "Anything for me?"

    It took you a second to realize. "Oh!" you exclaimed when you remembered. "James?"

    "Too serious," he replied while brushing a few strands of hair back from your face. He leaves his hand resting on your cheek.

    "Sarge?"
  
     "Ooh, I like it."

      "Oh! What about Buckybear?"

     "Why?"

     "Because you're like a big teddy bear!"

     Bucky laughed and pulled you close to him. You rested your head on his chest.

     "That's perfect, sweetheart."

     "Good."
