(Keith's POV)
"Lance... get up... we're going to be late for work and you know how Shiro and Allura are when we aren't there..." I say and shake him awake.
"Five more minutes... mom..." he grumbles.
"Seriously... get up..." I say and then pull him away from the bed causing him to fall.
"Ok fine I'm up... why did I agree to be roommates with you... I should've been put with Hunk or Lotor or someone besides you..."
I roll my eyes and grab my jacket before heading outside of the apartment. Lance was always doing this. Always causing us to be late and guess who would get blamed... me. Why? I don't quiznacking know. But that didn't stop me from falling for him. Yeah he may always do the wrong thing at the wrong time, but he was always so cute to look at when he was always failing.
Luckily, he woke up at the right time and we weren't late. We both threw on our aprons and headed to where the others are.
"Kieth... Lance so close to being late. Glad to see you made it..." Allura mutters, "finally."
Shiro knocks her arm for her sudden outburst of rudeness. Gosh I hate her so much. Mainly due to the fact that Lance has this huge "highschool" crush on her and she's so rude that she keeps denying him. Like what's not to love about this adorable Cuban bouncing boy. He's just amazing.
"Now... Hunk and Coran... you're our chefs so you already know what to do. Lance and Pidge you are the cashiers and that leaves Keith and I on waiter duty." Shiro says confidently.
"Yes space dad," Lance says jokingly.
"Ok then... let's open Voltron!" Shiro cheers.
Five years ago each one of us had just finished high school and we wanted to impress the world. We all put our heads together and our money and decided to open a small coffee shop. Hunk was always the best at cooking and coming up with little creative things so he was already "head chef." Pidge, Lance, Allura, Shiro, and I just get assigned certain things on certain days. Together we made this amazing coffee shop called Voltron.
Shiro then walks over to the window and switches the open sign on. Each letter illuminates with red, blue, yellow, and green. Then a purple ring around it. I love each drink choice. They are amazing. Especially the specials.
