The next morning I got up bright and early because I was supposed to meet Ben at the neighborhood park before school. I got up and put on some shorts a super man shirt. It was sunny out so I wore a super man snap back to match. I walked down stair and tipped toed.
I don't know why because Mom and Dad were always on business trips and would leave me and Scarlett in the house alone. Besides Scarlett wasn't home yet. She was out for a jog. I poured cereal into a bowl and munched down to honey nut Cheerios. They filled my stomach with joy.
As I finished I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I got a text from Ben that said if I was going and I replied yes. I grabbed my back pack and headed out the door it was barely 6:30 and breezy outside. Dammit I forgot to bring a jacket.
"oh well" i said to myself as i walked to the park. Once ben saw me he got up and hugged me. "hey'' he said. "Hi" while shivering Ben saw my coldness so he reached into his bright blue jansport and gave me his hoodie.
