Third person POV:

Mr. Aizawa was standing at his desk in front of class 1A, waiting for them all to shut up so he could start the lesson. Once everyone had quieted down and had sat down at their own desks, he dug his hand into his pocket and found a small card with the word 'Combat' written on it. As he showed it to the students everyone's eyes lit up with excitement.

"HELL YEAH!" Bakugou said with a loud, intimating voice as he straightened up in his seat and slammed his clenched fists on the table. Bakugou then turned in his seat and glared daggers at Midoriya who just sank a bit in his seat under his glare. "This is going to be fun, and you better not hold back Deku!" He barked and faced forwards again as the class quieted down.

"Everyone get on your training uniforms and meet in gym gamma." Mr. Aizawa said as everyone got up and exited the class in small groups, chatting excitedly about this combat training.

Todoroki's POV:

I entered the locker room and walked to my locker, starting to undress as I changed into my training uniform. Everyone was talking and hyping each other up for this exercise, but I myself didn't really think much of it. Bakugou had seemed like he looked forward to it though, from the way he looked and talked to Midoriya. As I thought of Midoriya I couldn't help but turn my head and look at him.

Midoriya was chatting with Iida as he hadn't put on his shirt yet so his torso and surprisingly well build muscles were showing. He actually has a really beautiful body... I widened my eyes as my thoughts began to live their own lives once again. Stop it Shoto, he's your classmate! I thought to myself trying to stop myself from thinking that way about him while a small blush had sneaked onto my cheeks.

Midoriya has really made an impact on me and my life ever since the sports festival. He doesn't deserve to be treated the way Bakugou treats him. Why can't Bakugou see that? Why isn't Midoriya doing anything about it? Someone should really teach Bakugou a lesson and I'll gladly do it myself if I have to.

"T-Todoroki? What's the matter?" Midoriya suddenly stuttered with a shy smile as he had apparently walked over to me and was now looking at me. And there's that smile I love... I want to protect that smile and no one shall ever hurt him. It was just now that I realized that I never took my gaze off of him again and I've just been standing here, staring at him.

"Midoriya? It's nothing. I was just thinking." I said monotonously and quickly looked down, trying my hardest not to let him see my faint blush. Midoriya frowned shortly and gave me look saying 'Are you sure?' as I just nodded, my monotone expression back and the blush has gone.

"Okay then... Are you coming? The rest has already left and are probably waiting for us." He said and smiled invitingly. I felt my heart squeeze a bit as he did so as I just closed my locker and nodded.

We quickly arrived at gym gamma where everyone else was already doing one on one combat training. Midoriya and I walked over to Mr. Aizawa to get instructions.

"You're late." Mr. Aizawa sighed and looked at us with his usual tired expression. Midoriya quickly apologized and bowed his head to Aizawa, but I just said 'sorry' in a respectful tone. "Well, since you can arrive late together, you should be able to train together as well. Just don't go all out like the sports festival." Mr. Aizawa said as he gave us a warning glare and walked away.

"Haha..." Midoriya laughed awkwardly at Aizawa's last comment and scratched the back of his head nervously.

"Let's get to it Midoriya." I said, bringing his focus to me as he looked at me and smiled. That smile... So full of hope and happiness.
