♧Rainie's POV ♧
One month later

"Are you sure Rainbow? "Jerry asked me for the millionth time.

"Yes Jerry, I'm really sure, "I say.

"I know I always pressure you to, but I'm usually just kidding so... "

"I'm doing this for me Jerry, "I say.

"Okay, okay. I'll see you in a few hours. "He says and hugs me. "I love you Rainbow, "

"Me too Jer Bear, "I say.

"Please don't go back to calling me that, bye baby, "he says and sends kisses my way.

"Yea, yeah. Bye, "I say.

I'd finally decided to stop wearing make up and hiding who I am.

Everyone is as real as it gets, it's not fair that I'm not me.

I huff and get into my bathroom.

I take the special make up remover, I rub cotton on it and wipe my face then my arms until my body is foundation free.

I stand in front of my mirror with m towel on.

My contacts are out, my hair is its natural colour and my skin is as natural as it gets.

I get into the shower and wash my body.

I get out, dry myself and head to my closet.

I walk deeper than usual to get to the colorful clothes I'm forced to own and wear when my mom is around.

I pull out a white full neck crop top with long sleeves, a pair of high waisted blue faded jeans, a simple black cardigan and I complete the look with a white pair of Vans.

I wear them over my black lace lingerie.

I walk into my bathroom to do my make up.

I apply minimum mascara, blush and maroon matt lipstick.

I throw my hair up in a messy pony such that strands are loose.

I stand in front of my mirror and tilt my head.

"For us Raine, this is for us, "I say and walk out of my bathroom.

It's currently 7:27.

I pick my black bag pack and phone and head to my car.

"I hope I made the right choice guys." I say to the picture of my family and place a kiss.

I get in my car and drive off.

I feel eyes on me as I walk down in the halls of school.

I adjust my bag as I uncomfortably walk to my locker.

Where's Jerry when you need him.

I get a bunch of wolf whistles and I hear other kids whisper, 'who's the new girl? '

I feel like I could fall over at any moment.

I sigh in relief when I finally get to my locker.

Algebra goes on as usual.

I don't think Jake recognizes me.

The bell rings signalling us to get to our next classes.

I pick my bag and call out to Jake who's already halfway out of the class.

He looks at me confusedly.
