♤Mason's POV ♤
I'm seated on the staircase of Luke's house thinking.

What did I do to get Rainie to be so mad at me?

All the boys had gone to Jace's but I said I'd join them later.

I'm at Luke's because I can't go home at the moment.

My dad's home and I don't want him talking business now. I can deal with him later.

I'm looking at the video on my phone and a smile creeps to my face.

She's so beautiful.

"She's pretty, "a feminine voice says behind me.

I turn to see Jamie behind me.

"Oh, hey Jamie. I didn't know you were home, "I say.

"May I? "She asks whether she can sit beside me.

"Yeah, sure, "I say.

"She's the girl from before, isn't she? "She asks pointing at Rainie.

"Yes, "I say.

"And she's also the girl making you mop around, "she says.

I look at her shocked.

"No... "I try.

She just smiles and pats my shoulder.

"It's very obvious Mason, "she says.

"Is it? "I ask.

"Yes, but the boys obviously don't know. Boys are clueless, "she says.

I look down at the video which is still playing.

How could I have hurt her?

"Wanna talk about it? "She asks"you know, have a female perspective? "

"My, couldn't hurt, "I say and tell her everything, right from when she walked out, to hugging Jake, how mad I was at that, to when I went to her house and talked about the video.

I receive a smack at the back of my head.

I look at Jamie questioningly.

"You're so stupid, "she says and I just look at her waiting for her to explain.

"I'm getting two reasons why she may be mad, "she says and looks at me. I nod to say I'm following.

"First, you said she acted weird when I first got here right? "She asks and I nod not understanding how this made any sense.

"I remember you saying things along the lines of, 'royal hotness '?"she says.

"I know but... "My eyes widen. Oh. That's why she left.

She was jealous?

"You see it now? "She asks and I nod.

"And the second reason? "I ask.

"The video, "she says like it's obvious.

"Yeah, what about it? "I ask.

She sighs and mutters something under her breath.

"You said everything you said was for show idiot, "she says, "you basically told her point blank that she's a game, "

Oh shit.

"Oh, no. You're right. What should I do? "I ask.

"How about going over to her house to apologize, "she says.

"Right, "I say getting up. "And thanks Jamie"

"Anytime Mason. "
