I woke up in derricks bed with him on my boobs fast asleep I tried to move but he gripped me
"Where you going?"he said in a raspy morning voice
"I don't want your grandma to catch me I hear she not fond of white folk"I said suddenly I can hear miss Ruby's voice
"Nah you good girl it's true I hate white people with a passion but I hear you sing you may have white skin but you have a black soul !"me and Derrick laughed

"Just know I can't stand your sister with the blue eyes there something not right about her" Derrick sighed
"Ok grandma thank you now go to your room!" He said nuzzling into my bare chest

"So Shine tell me about you" he said kissing my chest
" not much to tell I'm 18 years old I got 2 sisters one of them is my twin my mother died and I don't know where my father is"I said feeling the pain of my life

"I guess we have that in common but it's worse for me, I have to protect Simone from herself me and star have only ever cared about her" I said rubbing my hands on his face

Everyone turned miss Bruce said "oh"with a open mouth
"Girl I can't" miss Bruce said so basically from what cotton said Jahil is a middle aged Latin stud who get coked up and hustles everyone but he can't do that to me cause ain't no hustling a hustler
The rest of the day I "talked"to Derrick and rehearsed with the girls and I was close to my breaking point cause Alex and Star are arguing about which song we should sing

You hoes are making me lose my mind I'm choosing the damn song we're singing "I can be" at the party and I swear to god if one of says something against my word I will stick foot so far up your ass's you will have toes for teeth" then simone came in looking like someone's piano lesson taking granddaughter

"Where's the weed"she asked about to cry
"Come In I'll roll a blunt for us" getting my bag taking Simone to the chairs and rolling up

"I love you too baby girl"I smiled we talked and went to bed so the next day we got ready and Star and Simone were at each other's throats fighting
"Enough arguing ok cause if I get involved so help i don't care if you To are miss sisters I will cut you bitches" I said picking up my phone texting back Derrick

I smirked "well I can say that we both work very...hard at our talents" he gulped and stared at me
I know what y'all thinking but hey Derrick ain't say I was his girl or nothing we just hit it sometimes and talk until he speaks his mind Its open season
I went to the bathroom and Star was there she was staring at herself In The mirror and looked at me I stared at my reflection and smirked so did she we then went to get Simone and perform when we found her she was already half black now she half alcohol but she pulled herself together
