The little girl Upon the marrow

Dark as dark as night
Bright as bright as light
No one can see behind her eyes
No one sees the little girl hidden in the darkness
They only see the little girl that she pretends to be
Hidden from the world with in her dreams
Hoping for someone to see
See all she wish she could be
But she knows that beneath all the snow
Nothing but sorrow lies below
Waiting for the sun to fallow
She dreams for all that she could be
For such a big adventure on the morrow
For even though the tide falls
She sees all that can be
She sees the truth hidden down below
She sees the light when it starts to show
For even in times of trouble she can still glow
Through the dark and through the light she knows there is nothing to fright
For even in the night she still shines bright
Like a firefly learning to take flight
Like an hourglass filled to the brim she sinks beneath all her dreams
Dreams to run free
And to live out on the sea
The sea of people who told her otherwise
The sea of demons who made up lies
And beneath the waves is where the girl lies
surrounded by the treasure she finds
And within each object that lies
There is a memory deep inside
And all this happens deep inside her imaginative mind
Now she shines above the rest
Putting all of them to the test
so she don't drown like the ones who fail
or get caught in the sea of lies
spread by the ones that just fly by
Soaring through the lies she learns to pass on by
Taking her broken wings and climbing high
Climbing to touch the sky
To feel the wind beneath her
To feel free once again
To sing her song and be heard
just one last time
