I felt the earth rattled,

It made my knees buckled.

The shaking went on, causing me to grab on to something tight.

And hold on, to keep steady with all my might.

Looking around I couldn't believe the sight.

Two building nearby crumbled,

It fell with a loud rumble.

The kids that were laughing were no where to be found,

They may have left, but could be somewhere around.

Many people were lying on the ground,

Some not making a sound.

While others screamed and cried.

Holding their love one as they died.

Some did CPR, but nothing happened as they tried.

I tried to move but felt paralyzed.

Then I began to panic as I realized.

The shaking was only the start,

Of something greater than man ever thought.

The ground shakes harder as the earth slit apart.

Creating a large hole in the ground,

As the cries got louder, than loud.

Needless to say I was terrified,

As the strong winds then intensified.

The trees and leaves heavily sway,

But many with their injured love one's decided to stay.

The rumbling off buildings crumbling never seized,

The cries of many never eased.

My mind ran with different thoughts,

What could be the caused of this? It could be caused by all soughts.

Could it be a natural diseaster by any means?

Maybe it's the end of the world it seems.

I felt my heart beat quicken as all my unasked questions were answered.

When out of thin air a mother space craft appeared.

Shock first filled my system then came fear,

Blinking rapidly not believing what was there.

Shaking my head in disbelief, "oh God no," I breathe.

Needless to say, the figure descending the space craft was all the confirmation I need.
