I woke up to someone asking what day it was.

"It's November 11th." I replied.

"Feliz compleaños bebé."

"Ti!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Yes beautiful."

Unknown POV

"Bro Santiago I ain't dead. Lala your brother did a terrible job."

"Sorry, he said he tried.

"He did not try hard enough. I want him DEAD! His family will pay for what they did. They will pay." I cackled.

"You are evil."

"That's the point Lala."

November 11th, 2018

"Ti your alive."

"You though I was dead baby."

"Everyone said that you weren't going to make it and I started to believe it. But I still had hope."

"You still don't know though, it could just be temporary, me being awake, but just in case I do die, let's get everything off our chests. First I have a question. Is our baby ok?"

"Yeah she's ok. And your gonna live."

"WERE HAVING A GIRL!"

"Yes we are."

I could tell he wanted a kiss, so I lifted myself to stand using the bed to peck his lips then sat down.

"Ok I have another question Niyla. When you spoke in French to me, what did you say?"

"Umm......I said I want you in my guts."

"No you didn't."

"I did. Do not bring that up ever again. Now my turn to ask a question. is this what Javion was talking about, when he said something was gonna happen?"

"I honestly don't know, I wanted to ask the same thing since he's your brother, Maybe he told you when I was asleep."

"He came to see me, but didn't say. My mom didn't. I should get your parents."

"No, I want to finish this first."

"That one time you went to take that phone call, is there someone after you? Is that's the cause of what happened at homecoming?"

"I dont know, it could be that or what Javion was taking about. Now, what did Gabriel say to you at the dance."

"What do you mean."

"Your not slick, I saw you and him go to the back. What he say? And why was his lips glossy?"

Homecoming

He led me to the behind the back wall.

"So what is is you want to tell me."

"This."

Then he kissed me.

An I didn't push away.

Then finally i did.

"Gabriel we can't do this."

"Niyla I really like you."

"But we have know each other for like a month."

"And I do not care. Your different from these other girls. None of them would give me the time of day and all they care about is materialistic shit. But with you everything is different. I'm not ashamed of who I am with you or what I have . You make me feel like I am on cloud nine when you speak to me or even text me. You make me feel so good about myself. No other female has ever done that to me. No one has showed they cared even in the slightest bit. Not even my family."

Flashback over

I decided telling the truth would be best.

"Well he lead me behind the wall and confessed his feelings to me."

"Continue."

"And then he kissed me. But I pushed back immediately."

"Uh huh."

"And then that's when we heard the gun shots and we weeny many to the commons, and that's when you know what happened."

Maybe not the whole truth.

"That all that happened?"

"That's all."

"Ok then, Dame un beso."

I then again, used his bed to life myself up and pecked his lips.

After the door busted open, and In came the nurse, Paul( Ti dad) and Gabriel.

"My son, are you ok, I can't believe your awake." Ti dad yelled.

Then His mom busted in the room, and pushed past everyone.

"Mi bebé está bien, fue culpa de tu padre". ("My baby is fine, it was your father's fault.")

"No es culpa de papá por completo. Hay dos razones por las que podría haber sucedido, y lo resolveré." (It's not dad's fault altogether. There are two reasons why it could have happened, and I will solve it.)

Before his mom could reply the nurse interrupted.

"We need to check on him, you know his vitals and things. Can y'all please leave the room."
