"Max!" Jackson snapped, angry at the boy for exposing his skateboarding secret

Max sighed, "Sorry. Here's your don't tell Mom or Farrah jolly ranchers back."

He gently placed the small pieces of candy onto the table, while Dj turned to face Jackson with a smile. She's was obviously excited about my success.

She gently grabbed him and pushed him into a chair, "Okay, have a seat. You know what you guys? Every time your at that Bobby Popko's house, something bad happens.

"I can't believe you went without me." I said, ignoring Dj's protective approach

He gave me an apologetic smile and I shook my head, taking the jolly ranchers off of the table and beginning to unwrap them.

"Aren't his parents around?" Dj asked, continuing her interrogation, while she handed me a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol.

Jackson nodded his head, "Oh, yes, yes. Of course. They're very responsible people."

"Max?" Dj asked, not believing a word that had come out of Jackson's mouth

"They're never home." Max responded, before dropping another bag of candy on the table, "Here's your skittles."

Dj sighed, "That's it. Until I talked to his parents, you are not allowed at the Popkos'."

"What? That's bogus." Jackson argued

"Yeah that's bogus! Can I have the skittles back?" Max agreed, hoping to get back any of the candy that I hadn't already eaten

I took the cotton swab Dj had given me, dousing it in rubbing alcohol before gently wiping the cuts on his arm. Jackson grimaced making me lightly snicker, "That's what you get for not taking me."

Steph walked down the stairs with a large smile on her face, "Boys, who's your favorite aunt? No need to answer. I know it's me." I am deejaying at Lucha Kaboom and I got us all tickets."

"Wow! That's amazing!" Jackson cheered, excited to see his favorite group of wrestlers

"Oh my Gosh!" Max cheered, sharing in Jackson's excitement

Dj smiled, "I get to go to Lucha Kaboom? What's Lucha Kaboom?"

"It's Mexican wrestling. It's got crazy outfits, stunts and crazy chickens." I replied, excited to see ridiculous fake wrestling

"And guess who's headlining? King Jaguarito." Steph cheered, cashing the level of excitement to exceed any of her expectations

"Who's king dorito?" Dj asked.

Max sighed, "Mom he's not a corn chip. He's king of the jaguars and he's my favorite wrestler!"

After the excitement had died down, Jackson had decided to ignore Dj's rule and brought Max and I to Popko's

I stood by and watched as Jackson and Popko wrapped Max up in pillows and duct tape as protection from any kind of injury.

"Looking good, Max." I commented.

"We'd better run our safety test." Popko said, pointing to me for reassurance.

"Wait, uh, I don't know if that's such a good id-" I started, but before I could finish they were hitting Max with bats.

I cringed and silently prayed that they hadn't broken any of the poor boy's bones

"Did it hurt?" Jackson asked after they were done assaulting him

Max shook his head with a smile, "Not a bit."
