Dear Mr. C,
Marching band is here and we are doing superheroes. I'm excited and I know you are. As I look back upon the years you have gave me as a student and a musician I now see that there is much more value in music than just notes and words on a page.
Being a songwriter myself has helped me to learn this also. I sit and write this with the "Avengers" theme in my head because it won't leave. You managed to make something I despise with my whole being a thing I love to death.
When I walk across that stage at graduation knowing that it'll be the last time I see you and hear our wonderful band play. The years I've had with you have made my life bearable and I can't wait for the many more to come.
