he didn't spot the tear
streaming down my face
I wished this wasn't real
and I wasn't just a lost case
my body went numb
my heart started to bleed
cursing myself for being dumb
I drowned in his voice deep
it happened so fast
as he kissed my skin
now it's all just a past
memory of the greatest sin
then Hope took my hand
and forced me to leave
only thanks to her mend
I again started to believe
