the sky's so blue
I've never been so torn
while thinking 'bout you
gone is your smile
the laugh and the lust
the dream about an aisle
burned down in dust
I gave you my heart
my fire, my soul
it tore me apart
when you didn't come home
the sky was so grey
your smile so bright
when you said "hey"
and stayed one last night
