Prayers are invisible but they make impossible things possible. It is Allah's job to do the wonders. Our job is very simple: Pray, Believe and Wait.~

Sometimes, there are things that keep you awake at night.

Things that you are scared to even tell yourself, cause that doesn't seem at all right.

Things that haunt you for the rest of your life.

And, you are scared of the sea of uncertainty that looks back at you in the eye.

You are traumatized for things that no matter how much you try, can't bring yourself to share.

Breathing becomes a chore to you as pain shreds you, layer after layer.

In an attempt to hold yourself together, you fall again and again, let's not deny

You keep on tripping over the floor yet you try,

Your legs turns jelly and cold feet stumbles,

And even though, it takes every ounce of energy from your fibres, you still don't allow yourself to crumble.

Agony blankets your consciousness and fear grips your heart,

But placing your Tawaqal in the One, you advance forward and will yourself to not fall apart

You wait, wait and wait

Soon enough, your patience withers away and so does your faith

Doubt over unknown, crawls in you

And you take things as they come and go

Numbness stones your heart and hopeless is what you become

Sucidal thoughts swim across your mind but you swallow down your lumps

Those thoughts, themselves, release series of shivers to trail down your spinal cord

As you spend nights suppressing your muffled sobs with fluffy pillows crouching against bed headboard

Or those days, when you soak the tissues with waterfall as you breakdown inside toilet stalls,

But oh, how you fool everyone, plastering a tight-lipped smile, despite of the internal turmoil

This goes on for months, minutes become hour and days become year

You see no sign but you still hold hope that help of Allah is near,

You want to cry, but there's no-more tears to brim in your eye,

You want to scream but your voice betrays you and throat becomes dry

Then comes one fine day

It wasn't rainbows and sunny; nay..

No, it wasn't full of light like you dreamt,

It was another ordinary day but there was something different

Let me tell you, about that wonderful day

It was a day when miracle stood knocking at your doorway,

A day when all your midnight whispers, tears and dreams came true

And that day, startled and beyond happy, you couldn't believe your view

And yet, after everything, you couldn't express your gratitude..

For the unbearable hardships and pocketed lessons that your life have had include

And in that moment, you knew

Had it not been for all this, you possibly won't be this new you

And by Allah, if you were to exchange all your worldly possessions for this

Without a doubt, you'd still choose it even if it meant you have to undergo all those dark abyss

Because, if not for all this, you wouldn't ever know your capacity

You wouldn't know that prayers have the power to change everything magically

You wouldn't know the worth of everything that you took granted for, even your smile

You wouldn't know that you have a Lord who loves you, and has been bestowing his blessing, all the while..

You just wouldn't know..

That it takes pain from you to simply grow

Because trust me when I say this, the best lessons come from the worst moments,

And that you've learnt best from yourself, not from some wise-sage or even poets

But most importantly, if not for all these misfortune, suffering and plot twist,

You wouldn't ever know, that when you raise your hand to Him, miracles do exist.

And nah, that's not my words, I'm simply a soul who agrees,

When my Lord promises, not once but twice that, "Indeed, with every hardship comes ease."
