It was odd. Of course, it was usually silent, but the silence as they say next to each other in the library was odd.

It made it hard to focus. The whole three hours, she could not study properly. The atmosphere wasn't right.

He didn't look at her the whole time.

He shouldn't be embarrassed or ashamed. He shouldn't be. Sam thought.

But that's what seemed to consume him. He seemed to be pondering about earlier. More than her.

"Lucas."

And just like that she mumbled his name.

He gazed at her in bewilderment, in daze.

We should probably head home, now.
