Secret War

For years it was disregarded to me

When the familiar becomes foul and fink

Lights scream loud and fierce in an endless sea

Noises start their march and combine in sync

You musn't show your weakness to this foe

For it quickly gatherers comrades anew

These bystanders and skeptics help them grow

Ignorant to the raid beyond their view

It's a screaming well of silent voices

Thoughts swirl like fish swimming in a dark bowl

The onslaught endures with cuts and slices

As fury sets in, they have won control

Why can no one hear the beast's wicked roar?

For now, I must face and endure this war
