Awkward

THE NEXT MORNING
HICCUP'S POV
I am awake its 7am and i am up it never happened to me i can hear my mom cooking downstairs since we have astrid family over today...omg i hope it won't be awkward i quickly got up and got changed then walked downstairs

"Morning" I said to mom she was cooking

"Morning breakfast is ready" She said i started eating

"Where is dad" I asked

"He went to buy something for tonight" She said i nodded

"You need to cut the grass outside its pretty long and we have guest over" She said great

"...Great i will when are they coming over" I asked

"At 8pm" She answered i finished eating then walked to the garage to grab the mower and to my luck...it didn't have gas in it..GREAT

So i grabbed a gas bottle and went to my car then drove to a gas station i need to fill the car too

After 300$ later i have filled the later and had some fuel to cut the grass i parked on the street since i don't want the grass on my car i pureed the gas in the mower and it started finally

I started cutting the grass yee it was pretty long its so boring to cut grass then i saw my dad pull in the driveway stealing my parking spot

"I see finally you doing something" He said as he walked towards me

"Yea yea" I said

"Something is wrong with my car can you check it out" He asked GREAT

"Of course give me the keys" I said he gived me the keys and i went back to cutting the grass

After 30 minutes of grass cutting i was sweating why does it have to be so hot outside Deam...Alright let's see what's wrong with the car
I started my dad's camaro it was running fine i revved it a couple of times it seemed fine...after a took it for a drive it was pulling to the right i check the tires pressure and of course it was wrong the right side was lower than the left side...I am happy its not a bigger problem i was covered in sweat i went in and took a shower

ASTRID'S POV
Its diner time and i am freaking out right now i haven't talked to hiccup for a whole day i haven't even seen him...i really miss him

"So it will be awkward" Snoutlout said oh yea and the haddock's invited my family over for diner and of course hiccup will be there

"I don't know what to do" I said i had my head in my hands

"You should call hiccup" Ruff said

"NO!..no i can't he hates me i hurted him...i am so done" I said

"Don't worry everything will be fine...if the parents won't caught on then everything will be fine" Ruff said

"Not helping" I said then the bell rang

"Well i will not want to be in your place right now" Eret said then everyone went off by my dad is coming to pick me up we are going shopping for the diner my mom want me to wear a dress....i hate dresses but i have to

"Try and talk with him before the diner so it won't be that awkward..i have to go now see you next week" she said then she ran inside yepp tomorrow is the week-end then i saw my dad's black suv i ran to it and got in

"Hey how was school" Dad asked

"It was fine i had to study a lot" I said

"Where are we going" I asked

"We are going over to hiccup's" He said i became nervous really nervous

"Euh..why?" I asked trying to act cool

"Something is wrong this car hiccup came over today to check it out he told me its not safe to drive like this...and he offered to take us to the mall" He said okay i am 100% i am cursed of something

"Ohh..that's...amazing" I said but i became really nervous to see my own boyfriend..yep

I saw hiccup's car in the street i became nervous what's wrong with me dad parked just behind it

"Come on" He said and we got out i wanted to see hiccup but not talk to him...its weird

Then hiccup's dad came out

"Stoick how you doing" my dad greated

"Steve i am fine what about your self" Stoick said

"I am fine" My dad said

"Hiccup is upstairs getting ready" Stoick said

"Thank you stoick" My dad said then we walked to hiccup's car waiting for him

HICCUP'S POV
I totally forgot that i have offered astrid's dad to bring them to the mall...and now they are here outside waiting i am looking thru the window and astrid is here...i am panicking

Okay hiccup you can do this i putted on my shoes and walked outside they noticed me i saw astrid looking away for me

"Sorry for being late" I said

"No problem i am just thankful that you can take us to the mall" steve said i opened the car and got in i cleaned it this morning then they got in astrid sat in the back i started the engine and drive off it was very awkward i saw astrid in the mirror

"Astrid how was school" I asked it was very awkward she looked at me

"It was good" She answered i nodded and continued driving i got on the highway

"This car Is really comfortable i like it" Her dad said i smiled

"Thank you" I replied then i car on the highway pulled next to us it was an old honda civic but looks like it was tuned cause i saw the coming up from the hood they wanted to race

"They want to race" i said if i where alone i would have been flooring it by now but i am with my girlfriend who hates me and her dad GREAT!

I pulled off the highway and pulled into the mall i found a parking spot and parked

"Alright we are" i said

"Thank you for the ride" Steve said and they got out

"Eumm.you not coming with us" Astrid asked wich took me by surprise it new for me to hear MY OWN girlfriend's voice

"No i have things to do...but i will pick you up" i said and smiled she smiled back wich is new for me because i haven't seen her smile for at least 3 days instead i received only her dead glares of her frowing at me

"See you later" She said and closed the door now i regret that i haven't gone with her but nothing to do now i pulled out of the parking slot and drove home

After a 10 minutes i was home i parked in the driveway and went inside

"Hiccup i need your help come to the backyard" My dad said as soon as he saw me arghh

"what's up" I asked he was preparing the bbq

"Can you help me place this table in the house" He asked i nodded and we brought it inside it was longer than our old one

"Alright everything is ready" Mom said

"Finally we can relax a little before they come" Dad said well they can i can't

"I will be outside" I said and walked outside and got in my car and drove back to the mall
