It was a week after marriage everything was going on well y/n had joined her office happiness was flowing with its highest possible speed but internal conflicts hold no limits she was falling for him and even he was falling for her but both failed to realise the feelings and even when realised they would try to convince that its a just a mere attraction caused due to staying together.
Everyday morning sanam used to wake y/n and then drop her to office then he used to go for jamming then again bring her back from office.
Y/n was tired as hell when she came back as it was monday the workload didn't seem to have an end and later on due to traffic and even sanam wasnt there to pick her due to his recording so she was already in a grumpy mode as she had fight with one guy who was about to dash her car.
"Chaachhii" Ruhi came running to her making all her tiredness vanish away
"you know today my teacher scolded me" She said making a pout
"ohh why is that so?" Y/n asked taking her on lap
"Because i didn't complete my homework" She replied
"ruhi how many times should i tell you atleast let her get fresh then you talk to her she must be tired na?" Said samaira while giving y/n water
"its okk bhabhi she makes my all tiredness vanish away my little princess" She said kissing her cheek while ruhi just giggled
"and baby girl you should complete your work on time orelse your teacher will keep on shouting on you" She said
"ya but then she even said sorry to me because she didn't wanted me to cry and disturb whole class😂" Ruhi said and laughed with y/n
"ohkay now stop with your stories let her change till then you go keep on talking to your grandpa" She said
"Bhabhi when is sanam coming back home?" Y/n asked
"samar told they will be back till 8:30 lets see" She replied later on y/n went upstairs and within few minutes sanam came back only to find y/n sitting on bed leaning on headboard with her eyes closed
"Tired?" He asked suddenly
"You love to scare me dont you?" She asked
"well yes too much tired i had back to back 4 meetings" She said
"and now i have a bad headache due to less sleep yesterday " She said
"i had told you to sleep early " He replied
"but work is important than sleep na" She said
"hmm" He hummed and went in to change later he came back
"sit down i will give you a head massage" He said and she followed his instructions
"y/n" He said and she hummed in response
"did you call mom?" He asked
"yeah before 2 or 3 days maybe" She said
"i think you should talk with her more frequently" He said
"but sanam i have much workload i can't just spend my time like that and also everyday what will we talk the same talks na" She said making sanam get a bit angry
"does that mean work is moreimportant to you then your parents" He asked
"i didn't say that and please stop this topic here i am too tired to fight on this" She said
"no no we need to sort this thing here you cant just neglect them y/n they are your parents and you are only child and support to them they just want to talk to you and thats matter of 5 minutes and you say you need to work and cant waste time like that? Is this even way to behave with your parents?" He said with anger evident in his voice
"sanam try to understand i have been on holiday for one whole week i need to catch up all that work plus having nosy people makes it more difficult and between these all i dont get time to call them its just that simple" She said
"Have you ever thought what your parents must be feeling? Today your mum was on verge of crying due to such behavior of yours
Oh wait you dont even have time to think that na? Cause work is more important to you than anything else in the world" He said angrily
"Sanam you are just over exaggerating the thing" She said
"i am not over exaggerating anything its all about what you are thinking" He replied with an high pitch voice
"I am not thinking anything here now my priority is work and i am doing that i am not neglecting anyone this is how it was before marriage too" She too yelled transforming a small conversation into a heated fight
"What do you mean? Before marriage they atleast got to see you now you stay here and you don't have time to talk to them because of stupid work??" He raised his voice again
"Stop shouting?! My work is what i worship and you cant disrespect it this way! Its my passion and will always be my priority" she said getting angry on how he called her work stupid
"okay now you work as per your so called priority and please dont even try to talk to me now for me what all Matters is my work nothing else" He said and took his cars keys and went away leaving y/n alone...
