Chapter 06

"So should we fix this date?" asked the pandit

"is it okay with both the groom and bride?" asked sanams dad and both of them nodded

"so fix the date pandit ji" said sanams dad

and y/n's dad further went to have talk about preparations of marriage as it was just a month away

"sanam you go and show y/n your room and y/n you see if you want to change anything" said his mom

Soon both headed towards his room both were awkward and kind of hesitant in the whole program they didn't talk to each other finally sanam decided to step on silence and to talk

"hey" he said

"hii" she replied

"Its so weird right?" He asked while she just nodded

"Are you not happy with dates?" He asked seeing her silent

"No no its just awkward a bit! Like we just met yesterday and now we'll be getting married"She said her heart out

"I know" he said feeling the same both of them sat in awkward silence but then she spoke fighting her inner demons of introvertness

"I am a complete introvert, and kind of ambivert with my cousins or people in my comfort zone.That really doesn't mean that I am rude this is just how I am" she said trying to clear out the awkward

"Its okay i really understand and to be honest it's same with me though I ain't that of an introvert it'd take time for me to consume this situation" he replied and both looked at each other and smiled warmly

"so hows my room I hope you liked it" he said while sitting on his bed

" its just beautiful" she said while seating beside him

"oh wait why am I talking to you I don't want to talk to you" she said

"and why is that so?" he asked

"you were the one who snatched my video game right" she said

"which video game" he asked as if he didn't do anything

"don't be innocent I know you were the one to snatch it from me" she said

"I wanted it " he said

"but I also wanted it na and infact I was the first one to touch it" she said

"don't worry now for 6 months my all games will be yours" he said

" ohhh from that I remembered what about the process of contract?" she asked

"I will talk to lawyer and let you know" he said

"don't you think we are cheating on our parents?" she asked feeling bad about her and his parents who were so happy about this marriage

"even I felt same but then when I see my mom and dad talking enthusiastically about our marriage I feel happy about this decision that yes because of this one decision they are happy and i am the reason behind this happiness" he said while y/n also nodded

"so no more guilt now" he asked and she nodded in no

"sanam sorry" she said

"why?" he asked

"its just you are taking so many efforts to be friend of mine my introvertness is just ruining all of it" she said feeling sad

"hey don't be sorry I am sure you will be my best friend one day its just matter of time but don't worry I can wait and even we are friends now" he said and she nodded

"now tell me any change you want in this room?" he asked

"nah I like however it is just make sure we have tv here to play ps4" she said

"yes madame" he said and she giggled

"btw you look cute in sarees" he said while complementing her who was wearing a blue coloured saree with black border

"you too look handsome in traditional outfits" she said while complementing him who was wearing a red coloured kurta and black jeans

"come now lets go" she said and both went out  face all family members teasing them

"chachi do you like to watch WWE?" asked lil ruhi

"yes I do watch it sometimes when I am free" she said

"so who is your favorite player?" asked ruhi

"currently I don't like anyone but khali and the rock are my favorites" she said making ruhi frown

"you don't like jhon cena?" she said

"he is good" said y/n and ruhis face lit up

"you like him?" asked y/n

"like she loves him like anything" said samira

while y/n just laughed sanam was watching this all and instantly a smile spread on his face on thinking how instantly she got friendly with ruhi

"come lets have dinner" said samar to sanam and all went to have dinner everyone had dinner while laughing and talking the excitement of marriage was present in the air after having dinner it was time for y/n to leave

"bye sanam" she said when there was no one around them

"bye y/n make sure you call me once you reach" he said

"yes good night sweet dreams take care" she said and sanam replied once they bid byes y/n went back home and after getting fresh when she lied on her bed with the thoughts of sanam she slept while same was with sanam

It was all new for both of them though both of them were not situation with their whole consent but still they were enjoying the bits of it making them give little moments of happily.
