Have you ever felt How it feels like To be trapped In your own mind? To have the feeling That your soul Wants to break free From the shackles Of your captivity. When your mind Is the prison. It's too difficult to Escape and run far. And that is what Leads to a feeling Of being suffocated And stagnated sometimes. You want thoughts to flow, Life to change Just like the seasons change. You want to talk, You want your voice And your words And all you get Are a bunch of chains. Of duties, Binding your imagination To the stygian earth. You wanna spread your wings, Fly away far. While you desperately try, To stop the poison, Spewing from the cauldron. The pressure cooker Of thoughts and feelings Wanting an outlet But so trapped In the melee called life. You have but one way. Write, express Bare your heart on paper Be it in bits Or in volumes Sheafs and sheafs. But you amateur writer. Yes you... Who shies away From showing you talent Never give up On your passion. Even when the world is Against you at times. You need to go on. For yourself And for you only. Don't let them kill. Your creativity, Your uniqueness... Go forth And write your heart out.
