At last I came to the forest,
Of broken heart.
Trees whispered secrets,
And sighs from all sides did dart.

Sad music rose high in the air, Sounding its melancholic harmony,
The emotions spread far and wide,
Spirits cried out many.

All narrated their tales,
Of eternal passion and love ,
Broken, Distressed, Deceived voices,
From high and above.

Shattered hearts, thwarted love,
Cried out spirits from branch every.
Pain and suffering, deception and solitude ,
Cried out souls in gloom and worry.

Shadowy souls flew in and out,
All crying eternal respite,
When I saw a little throbbing spirit,
Some distance quite.

A little child with big bright eyes,
Stared at me in awe,
And the ice in my heart, which hadn't softened awhile,
Began to thaw.

I sat beside the tiny little sprite, Which was quite shaken,
Amazed I asked it,
"You are too young to love, or be heart-broken?"

"Why," whispered the child,
"The big beautiful world was what I loved.
A bomb explosion, creatures called terrorists,
The world left me deceived."

"Thus with a broken heart,
I long to rise from my ashes and be free,
The day no innocent tongue will cry again,
I shall be freed for eternity."
