Last week I realized the feelings I had for *y/n* and I've tried hard not to make things awkward between us, on my part. She doesn't know anything about my feelings, I suspect, but I feel weird now. For some reason I feel like I can't be around her, and I can't be as close to her as before, I get super anxious around her now. I'm at her house right now working on an English paper. I couldn't really concentrate though, I just kept thinking about what happened with that guy. I asked her about him 2 days ago and she said he had left the day before. Guess he might have actually been an actor after all.
I'm just sitting here against the wall.....thinking...about her.
"Are you ok tom?" *y/n* says. I face her and I see her laying on the bed with her head hanging from the edge.
"Yeah I'm alright mate," I tell her with a soft smile.
"Are you sure? You seem a little...off. More than usual," she says and squints her eyes at me.
"Yes I'm ok. I'm doing just fine." I rip out an empty piece of paper from my notebook that's in my lap and I crumple it up into a ball and throw it at her. She rolls over and is now right side up, "HEY!" she yells out and throws the paper right back at me. We both let out a laugh and I get up and say in a really maniac voice, "here's tommy," and I get up on her bed and tickle her as much as I can. She's laughing so hard that tears are coming out of the outer corners of her eyes. I decide to stop before she can't breath anymore and dies on me.
As I'm going back to sit down against the wall I'm startled by y/n's scream, "TOM WAIT!" I spring back on my feet and look down to where I was about to sit to see if there was something there. Nothing. "What!? What happened!?!?" I asked her.
Y/n says with dreamy eyes, "Lay with me," she seemed a little scared to ask but it was so cute. I gave her a slight smile, rolled my eyes and said, "fine, anything for you I guess," with a hint of sarcasm in my tone of voice, but I meant every word.
We didn't cuddle, we were just pretty close to each other but honestly I was enjoying every second of it and I didn't want it to end.
*Your POV*
As I'm laying in my bed I'm watching dancing videos on YouTube and I was really impressed. I wish I could dance like that. The music was amazing and the dancers hit every beat. "Let's dance," I tell tom. He looks at me with a confused look, "why? That's exercise......why?"
I get up and look at him straight in the eye, "Let's. Dance." Tom springs up with wide eyes and just says yes ma'am but literally just stands there. I ask him why he hasn't started dancing yet and he gives me a reasonable answer,"because there's no music..." I stared at him for a while, "good point," I say a little embarrassed. I put my music on shuffle and the first thing that comes on is Desire by years and years. "YAASSSS!" I say with excitement.
We start dancing around the room and since we had the house to ourselves we start singing at the top of our lungs, "IS IT DESIIIIRRRRREEE? OR IS IT LOVE THAT IM FEELING FOR YOU?" We both point at each when we sang that line. During the instrumental part of the song I yell out "DANCE BATTLE!" The lyrics start again and Tom just looks around the room confused as if he couldn't think of anything to do. Then all he does was flop around like a freaking fish which I found hilarious. He's such an idiot. "You fucking suck!" I said and start bursting into laughter. "oh piss off I was under pressure I didn't know what to do," Tom chuckled.
My phone rings and I tell Tom to lower the music. I tell him it's Madison and that she wants us to come over. It was still pretty early so why not go over to my best friends house. Madison is still on the phone with me and she tells me that she just really needs some friends right now. After I ended the call I passed on the message to Tom.
Tom knows how much she means to me and all the times she's been there for me when I needed her the most so when I told him we needed to go over there now, he understood. He's so caring.

Well there you guys go. After a while I have finally updated. Sorry for taking so long. I'll try to update again soon but I'm starting to work and they want me to work 11 hours 😭. But i will try my best. Next chapter will be good.
