Wash your hair. This style looks best when your hair is very straight and glossy. Use a hair straightener on all strands of hair to make them as straight as possible.
Divide the hair into seven equal strands.
Start at the right hand side. Cross the first strand (the one closest to your face) over the second strand next to it.
Cross the third strand over the new second strand. Never pull too tightly, as this is a neatly looser style.
Repeat this on the left hand side. The center strand remains untouched so far.
Treating what was originally the first strand as the third strand now, take the third strand on the right hand side over the the central, unused strand. Then weave it under the third strand on the left hand side.
Bring the first strand on the right hand side over the second strand. Then bring it under the central strand.
Repeat on the left side. Bring the first strand on the right hand side over the second strand and under the central strand.
Secure with an elastic. Then cover with a hair clasp or ribbon.
