The Happiest Place in the World- The Beach

Picture yourself on a sandy beach,
The waves lapping round the shore,
Children playing and having fun,
And the seagulls flap and soar.

No worries in the world are here,
At this happy place,
No school work and no jobs to do,
Just a beautiful open space.

At home the cars beep and screech,
The people shout and swear,
But nothing like that happens here,
There is no worry or care.

The children dance in a big circle,
Their feet sink into the sand,
The warm sun on their pale faces,
An ice cream in their hand.

Seashells are rattling around in buckets,
Water trickles down little legs,
Deck chairs positioned towards the sun,
Sun shades held down with pegs.

The adults sit and read their books,
And pass the time of day,
For once not worried about what's for tea,
"Lets have fish and chips" they say.

So next time when you are down,
Just think of this happy place,
It will cheer you up I guarantee,
And put a smile on your face!
