Life is complicated. She had figured out that truth years ago. Still, now that she was slowly being turned into a cyborg, matters got a whole lot more complicated.
Before, she never had to doubt the fact that she was human, because of course she was. But now, all the lines had started to blur. Just like the lines between the parts of her body that were human, and the ones that were mechanical.
There was nothing she could do about it, however. If she wanted to survive, if she wanted to see this world blossom into something entirely new, she just had to.
