Ash and The Arceus Missions

Chapter 30 - Cosplay Festival

Ash was currently headed towards a nearby port in Fortree City. "So Arc... How's your day going?" Ash started a conversation. "Well not much, I chased down Mewtwo, for definite reasons." Arceus said. "Can I ask why?" Ash asked. "Yup, it's because he mixed up the wrong candy in the last mission." Arceus explained.

"What punishment did you give him?" Ash asked. "I told him to watch over Jirachi and Manaphy in Hoenn." Arceus said. "Doesn't seem too bad." Ash said. "Oh, but it kinda is, if Jirachi is a curious little fellow, flying around; and Manaphy, he loves the same, but underwater." Arceus explained their behaviors.

"Wow sounds like what a kid should be doing." Ash said remembering his past, getting in trouble being curious. "Yup, kids these days, are a little annoying, but can get into all sorts of trouble, like when Jirachi wandered into a plaza full of trainers. Heh, still remembered all of the reactions of their faces." Arceus explained and laughed at the memory.

"Hold up Ash, you're getting closer, I'll send help for you, it'll be sad to do it alone." Arceus explained. "Thanks for backing me up, at least I know that I'm not alone on this one." Ash said.

Ash got closer to the port seeing a couple of boats with the red R on it, he sees three poachers from Team Rocket. "It's really getting irritating to see that R on their shirt and machines." Ash thought to himself.

Ash looked around his surroundings to see a Bulbasaur approach. "Hmm?" Ash silently hummed to himself. "Bulba... (I got this...)" Bulbasaur whispered. Bulbasaur launched a Sleep Powder in the air. Ash sees a Taillow fly behind the Sleep Powder, it used his wings to blow the Sleep Powder towards the Grunts direction.

The three grunts fell asleep as the Sleep Powder made contact. "Wow, that was easy." Ash said. "Not done yet Ash, still got to free those Pokemon." Arceus explained. "Got it." Ash replied.

Hours Later...

Ash tied up the Poachers so they wouldn't escape; didn't know what to do as he thought about calling Officer Jenny for help. "Hmm... How do I do this?" Ash said. "Don't worry Ash, you got a helper remember?" Arceus said. A loop appeared in front of Ash. 

"Ah! I remember! Bulbasaur, mind doing me a favor and carry the grunts with Vine Whip and throw them through the loop?" Ash asked. "Saur! (Sure!)" Bulbasaur simply said. Bulbasaur did exactly what he told him to do.

From Afar...

Officer Jenny was in Fortree City, getting random calls looking at the empty cells. "I know I'll get to it straight away," Officer Jenny replied to the caller. "Okay! Huh?" Officer Jenny said looking at the empty cell. This got all of the attention from the other officers.

Staring at the empty cell a random loop appeared making a portal. Out came three sleeping Team Rocket Grunts snoring together. The loop then disappeared. "What was that?" Officer Jenny said. "I don't know, but who are they?" An officer said. "Ah! Those are Team Rocket, but what was helping us?" Officer Jenny asked a rhetorical question.

Back to Ash...

Ash freed the current Pokemon in the cages, there were starters of Hoenn, the rest were Nuzleaf, Kirlia, Shroomish, Nincada, Delcatty, and Manectric. They were growling at Ash as they thought he was a poacher as well.

"Woah, woah hold up! Don't hurt me!" Ash said backing up a little raising his hands in defense. Bulbasaur went in and talked to them; understanding of what he said. They apologized and ran away in peace.
