I quietly stepped into my room and looked around. Nothing seemed out of place, so I guess that's good. I walked out of my room and down the hall. I looked in all the rooms, and my father wasn't in any of them. I then tried my best to walk down the stairs quietly, but they seemed even louder than usual. I was just praying my father wouldn't see me. Once I was at least half way down the stairs, I peeked into the living room. I observed the room and I still couldn't find him. Now I was starting to get a little worried. I kept creeping down the stairs, gaining more view of the living room as I went. Once I was finally at the bottom step, I could start to see the kitchen. That's when I froze, not out of fear, but shock.

I had to blink a few times to make sure I saw it right. I saw my father sitting at our table in the kitchen with a woman. I couldn't see her face, but she had long curly blonde hair. She also seemed pretty short and was skinny. They were talking and laughing like Jimin and I did. All I could do was stare at them in awe. Then a million questions popped into my head. Who was she? How long have they been seeing each other? My father must really like her to be laughing and smiling like he is. I slowly crept back up the stairs and acted like I had seen nothing. As I went back over to Jimin's, I thought maybe my father would change. Maybe this mystery woman would be the change he needed. I sure hoped so.

I crawled back into Jimin's room to see him looking super worried. I laughed slightly, since it was cute seeing him worry about me. I had to poke him on the back just for him to come out of his trance of worries. He quickly turned around and hugged me again.

"Ah y/n I was so worried about you. I just couldn't stop thinking about all the bad things that could've been happening to you over there."

"Ah you don't have to worry. In fact, I have some good news!"

"Oh really? What is it?"

"I saw my father over there with a woman! She even looked super nice and pretty. I couldn't see her face, but maybe she will change my father. Which is why I think I'm going to go back over tonight and meet her."

His face turned a mix between sad and worried after I said the last part. He looked at the ground, but pulled me closer to him.

"Ok, if that's what you want. Just please be careful. I'll be worrying about you all night, so if you need anything just come back over, ok?"

"Don't worry, I'll be thinking of you. Hopefully things will be good, but I'll come over if I need you. So don't fall asleep just in case," I said as I went to go back over. But before I could he grabbed my hand and pulled me to face him.

"I love you, y/n."

I weirdly wanted to cry as soon as he said that. I never knew what it felt like to be loved. I could really tell he loved me, and I loved him too.

"I love you too, Jimin."

He smiled and kissed me before letting me go back over. I felt bad leaving him, but I knew I had to give my father a chance. So I made my way back over, hoping for the best.

I went back into my room and quickly brushed my hair. I wanted to make sure I looked decent for this mysterious woman. I headed downstairs, and they were still in the same spot. I walked into the kitchen slowly, not wanting to barge in and interrupt them. They both turned to face me, and I immediately looked at the woman. She looked awfully familiar, but I couldn't remember where I had seen her. I didn't know what to say, but luckily my father spoke up.

"Ahh Crystal, this is my daughter y/n. I completely forgot to introduce you to her."

She stuck out her hand and I shook it gently. She was so beautiful up close. She had pale gray blue eyes, and very light skin.
