I know it's been some time since we've held a writing contest at the Storytellers Saloon. Life has been running away with me but I thought it about time we get a selection together of some of your more creepy, darker side stories as we have no stories for that genre just yet.

So how do you participate:

Easy enough... write a 500 word flash fiction story on the following prompt.

PROMPT:

You find an old key. What does it open? Where does it lead you?

STORY DEADLINE:

October 31st, 2018

Winner will be announced  November 5th, 2018

SUBMISSIONS:

Please email all submissions to @storytellers-saloon

List your user name and...The Key with your submission

WINNERS:

To be announced November 5th, 2018

All entrants will receive a follow from the Storytellers Saloon. A sticker will be added to the winners story touting them as the winner of this competition.

All copy rights are reserved by the author. Participation however does give Storytellers Saloon permission to use the story and the ability to edit the story for the purpose and use on the profile Storytellers Saloon.

Any questions can be asked in the comments below or can be PM'd directly to the Saloon.

Hope you all enjoy this little challenge and we look forward to reading something from you.

Sincerely,

The Storytellers Saloon
