For Her....

Like normal siblings, we had our disagreements. We took our fights to a whole new level. Not only within closed walls but also outside, we'll fight. There is a mild crack between our relationship. But apart from the mild crack, there are some points which connect us from falling apart. As usual, we fought for something which I cannot remember. The time came to attend my classes so I went to my tutoring centre by bicycle. My parents also left our house as they had to buy groceries. My sister was left alone with our pet dog. As I was on my way, I could sense the smell of soil and see lightning far away. Believing that it won't rain, I went to my class. The time passed. My tutor and I were so involved in our work that we did not sense the rain which was about to come. The thunder rumbled overhead like the fury of the gods and the lightning lit up the dark sky brightly that my tutor and I were petrified by their effect. This caused the power to cut off. Darkness came as the thick velvet curtain of the theatre. I begin to worry about my sister as she is scared of thunder and rain. She was alone there and I couldn't care less.

I borrowed my tutor's mobile phone and called her. The ring was cut off by her trembling voice. I told her to calm down and said that I would be there as soon as possible. I took my leave from my tutor and started pedalling my bicycle faster. There was full of darkness around me and I could not see the road before me properly. I was lost for a minute. To my surprise, a bolt of white lightning broke the utter blackness helping me to find my way. With the help of its brightness, I was once again on my track. As I was pushing the pedals harder, streaks of lightning ripped the inky sky and passed through the ground beside the road, I was travelling. By God's grace, I escaped the dreadful punishment. I was terrified and I could feel my heartbeat.....every single pound of it. It was a thrilling experience. The darkness prevailed till the wheels stopped near a tree. Relief spread in my heart as I parked my bicycle outside the house. A smile replaced my sister's frightened and worried face as my face came into her view. The power came bringing a broad smile in my sister's lips. She came running to me. I hugged her and promised that I will be always there for her.
