I turn around and read a sign that said Camp Half- Blood, but I had dyslexia.

Alex POV

I didn't really care that I could read the sign, I really cared that my my best friend was half mule.

" So Grover when were you going to tell me you are half mule".

" Blah ha ha".

"Um ok".

" I'm half goat not mule I take that as an insult to all satyrs".

I figured this was a dream so I went with it. " Where are we", I asked Grover. "Well I might as well explain. This is not a dream, so don't think it is. You are half god and half human. When I say god I mean as in the gods. Chiron is our camp director. We train at Camp Half-Blood, until we are assigned a quest. So that's about it". I can't believe this I'm freaking out, but I decided not to ask any questions.

I kept my shades on as I walked into camp.

" Hello are you new to camp".

" Um yes my name is Alex".

" Cool my name is Annabeth".

" So who's your parent"?

" Athena, and I'm guessing that you don't know your parent".

" Yeah".

We talked for about another 5 minutes, before it was time for me to go to the Hermes Cabin. I noticed that the Aphrodite cabin keeps up to date so they might know who I am. Your probably wondering why I'm taking this so easily, well I always knew I was like magical. I always thought maybe I was a wolf, vampire, witch,and half god, I basically knew everything about Greek Gods.

When I entered the cabin I saw a boy around 12 (Guys this is Luke yes I know he's supposed to be 19 also this is a year behind, but I wanted to make him younger you will find out why soon) in the back. He got up and looked me straight into my eyes or technically my shades.

" Hey why are you wearing shades", he questioned.

" Because I want too", I replied.

" Wait are your eyes gray, if they are you are Athena's daughter", he stated.

" Nope", I said popping the "p".

" Uh fine my name is Luke", he said.

" My names Alex", I said shaking his hand.

I saw Annabeth glare at me a bit I wonder why? "So are you undetermined or determined, I hope your undetermined so we don't have the same blood", he said winking.( You see what I did there... no, ok sorry) I rolled my eyes and before I could ask what he meant Annabeth said "Undetermined". I had a feeling Annabeth liked Luke, yeah! something to bug her about. "Um we gotta go see ya around", I said pushing Annabeth out.

" So Annabeth what's up with goo goo eyes huh does someone have a wittle cwush", I said in a baby voice. She blushed, but didn't say no so she does.

We went to the archers range, well she went to the archers range while I stood awkwardly alone. I sat down until I saw Grover walking away from Mr.D. "Hey Grover", I said."Oh hey Alex", he replied. "What are you doing", he asked."Oh you know the usual, eating grass, flipping my hair, and pooping", I replied hoping what I said made sense. "Um ok" he replied. We walked to the campfire after dinner.

"Hello young campers we have a new student by the name of Alex Grace", Chiron said. Lots of students turned to me while I was busy stuffing a marshmallow in my mouth. "Wait isn't she the girl on the streets? I've seen her around before I got to camp"?said a student from the Aphrodite cabin. "Ymph", I said instead of yeah because of the marshmallow currently in my mouth. "You are girl who lived on the streets right?"I just shrugged my shoulders.

Once I went outside a lady with an elegant flowing dress stood in front of me. The way she looked, said power. "I'm Athena and I'm here to tell you, that you are gifted with the gods. Ever since you were born you had the most amazing eyes. Do you remember anything before your 6th birthday? Well we nurtured you and we all loved you as our own daughters, I'm here to tell you, that your are Zeus's daughter and are very gifted. Goodbye my child". I just stood there looking like a blubbering fish.
