Chapter 26

Tripp Marco Palma (POV)

I am now on my way to the hospital. Tinawagan ako ng Mama ni Alyah, at sabi niya nandun daw sila. Pagkapasok ko sinalubong ako ng Mama ni Alyah. Then niyakap niya ako t lumabas siyang umiiyak.

Naupo ako sa tabi ng kama ni Alyah at hinawakan yung kamay niya. She's still unconcious. This beautiful girl infront of me, I broke her. Hindi ko alam kung bakit ko din nagawa yun, siguro dahil sarado yung isip ko. Napag isip-isip ko din na sana binigyan ko siya ng chance mag-explain, hindi yung pinagtulukan ko siya kaagad. Ang sama sama ko.

Lumabas ako ng kwarto at lumapit kay Tita.

"Tita, I have to go. May imemeet pa kasi ako eh."

She just nodded. Nagmamadali akong pumunta sa shop ni Zy (Alys) para kausapin siya. I was wrong all the time...

"Tripp! Anong ginagawa mo dito? Baka makita ka ni Drake!"

"No Alys. Listen to me. I was wrong. Hindi na kita dapat pinilit --"

"No Tripp. Listen to me. I kept saying this pero mahal mo talaga si Alyah. You're done with me Tripp. Hindi mo lang alam kasi kakabalik lang ng memory mo. Pero deep inside your heart, I know na alam mo kung ano yang nararamdaman mo para sa kanya. Go after her Tripp. Bring her back!"

Tama si Alys. Mahal na mahal ko talaga si Alyah. I was just closed minded and blind to see that. Nginitian ko siya at niyakap. I'll never forget this girl, she taught me how to love. Now I'm going to do it with the right girl.

"Thanks!" Sabi ko at nagmamadaling umalis. Pupunta ako sa lamay. Hindi ko pa alam kung ano ang nangyari, kung paano namatay si Bryce at kung bakit naospital si Alyah. Pero I'll ask her when we talk.

Papasok na ako ng chapel nang makita ko si Alex at Alyah na nasa gitna. She was crying really hard, nasasaktan siya. Sinabunutan siya nung nanay ni Bryce pero hindi ako makalapit. Pakiramdam ko ang laki ng kasalanan ko sa kanya. It felt like I'm the main reason why she's hurting because I pushed her away.

Umuwi na lang ako sa condo ko at nahiga sa kama. I'll go to her tomorrow. I'll get her back with me. I'll make her happy like what she did to me.

Alyah Zynneth Cortez (POV)

"Ate... Kain ka na. Kahapon ka pa hindi kumakain."

I didn't answer. Nacremate na si Bryce. His family chose that. I still can't accept the fact that after Tripp pushed me away without letting me explain myself, Bryce dying because of me and Kim being my lost sister. My life is a mess. Oo nga at nakulong na si Kim, pero Bryce just died because of me! Hindi man lang ako nakapag paalam ng maayos sa kanya. How cruel.

I was sitting on on the corner of my room crying. Wala pang pahinga yung mata ko, nakakagulat nga eh. Hindi maubos ubos yung luha ko. Kahapon pa ako iyak ng iyak.

"Ate please... Nag-aalala na si Mama sayo. Talk to me."

Hindibpa din ako sumagot, instead napalakas yung iyak ko. Bigla namang pumaso si Alex. Oh, may susi nga pala siya.

"Ate..."

Lumapit siya para yakapin ako. I hugged him too. It feels so good na kayakap  ko ngayon ang kapatid ko. He is carressing my back to comfort me. Tapos nung kumalma na ako he faced me.

"Ate don't be like this please. I need my sister now more than ever."

"Why? What happened?"

"Ate, sorry kung sasabihin ko ito sa gitna ng drama mo ha.. Pero I think I'm falling for Andrea."

"Really?"

I tried to smile as big as I can. I know parang ang gulo pero my brother being inlove makes me happy. Why? Because I know it can change him. Well, before he's not much into affection pero simula nung ipakilala ko sa kanya sa Andrea we became more and very close...

"Oh see. I made you smile! At dahil diyan let's go out! Magbihis ka na ate! In five minutes aalis na tayo!"

I smiled, wala na akong magagawa. Even if I have my problems, I should set them aside. I should let myself be happy and make my brother happy. Sa bagay pagod na din naman ako.
