                                              One time, the power went out in the sewers, and Ice Cream Kitty almost melted in the freezer. Mikey was terrified he'd lose her.

The love between you and your pet is strong. My first hamster died a month ago and it was kinda hard to let her go. Plus it didn't help say goodbye when she was in so much pain for her last few minutes of life. (she developed a tumor and it was too late to take to a veterinarian) But yeah, Mikey I felt that fear before and lived it.
