Chapter-21

After dessert everyone parted their ways. Rebeccah avoided me all the time. Not that i care but I was thankful because she is clingy bitch. I reminded chris to send me snap of her card.

We went home. I bid good night to mom and dad went to my room. I freshened up and changed only into boxers and quickly got under my covers.

How i wish that scarlett was here warming my cold being. Her brown eyes captivating.

Speaking of scarlett i checked my inbox for any messages from chris and smiled when i saw his recent unopened e-mail.

I quickly opened it and grinned devilishly when i saw her office address and phone number. Oh scarlett there is no getting away from me now.

Scarlett's POV

My stupid alarm buzzed like train honk in my ears. I groaned and sat on bed. Clock showed 5:30AM. I scurried off to bathroom and looked at my reflection in mirror. My brown hair was sticking out in all direction, i had drool over my chin. Wonderful.

I brushed my teeth and changed into jogging suit. Took my phone and headphones, i was ready for today.

Just like today i went jogging everyday  early morning from past three years. Music blasted into my ears only adding to my morning energy.  

After one hour of jogging i returned back to my apartment and sat on sofa to catch breath. Then i ate some fruit cereal as breakfast and decided to get ready for today.

I called Anna, my secretary to ask for today's schedule. No i don't own any big company, just a small office for consultation. I had secretary named Anna Jane who managed my calls and appointments, sometimes personal chores.

"Ma'am you have an appointment with Mr. Calvins today at 11AM and you are required to visit Mr.collin's home for the purpose of supervision at 3PM and ms. Miss.Stella called on office phone as she said your personal contact was out of coverage area. Alex also called to ask for your schedule for weekend as you need to pay visit to studio" She said in typical secretarial tone.

"Shit, i forgot to call aunt stella. Im bound to get earful. E-mail me today's schedule and how many times do i have to tell you that call me scarlett when we are not with clients, which we aren't half the times. Call alex and tell him i'm free this weekend so i would visit the studio"

"I'm sorry ma'am uh i mean sc-scarlett.That would do." She sighed.

I smiled at her innocence. She was a complete bunny. Full of energy, clumsy and hilarious. Also my second best friends besides lynn. I'm planning to introduce them to each other.

"Apology accepted. Now get back to work and check on the work of Mrs. Hess." She agreed and we hung up.

Just like every other girl my wardrobe was considerably full with clothes but i felt like i had nothing to wear.

After debating on various dresses with myself i groaned in frustation and settled on dark blue knee lenghth formal dress. It showed all of my curves perfectly and i was more than glad to show them a bit as it took nearly everything in me to gain this figure.

I remember the first time i set foot in gym four years ago. I basically gave up before starting because of shit load of exercise and extrenely strict diet chart. I would spend hours running on treadmill. It was worse first few days and i again began to rethink on giving up but my gym trainer gave me piece of his mind. Nevermind.

All the food items that i hated with my guts were included in food chart like zucchinis and broccolies, and what not.

I threw up many times and also threw childish tantrums to trainer about it. But yet again i got another piece of his mind.

I smiled at myself when i held dress infront of me in mirror.

Perfect.

How would micheal react if he sees me in this dress?! Seriously, stop it. Stupid me. After two years i haven't completely forgotten him.

I quickly put on my dress and applied nude matte shade on my lips and bit of eyeliner. I had tied my hair in high ponytail. I put on blue pumps and collected necessary files and my purse and locked the door. I look elevator down and strode towards parking.

There stood my baby shinning in all her glory. My car. I purchased car after my second big contract. First contract earned me my home. I quickly got in car and decided to buy coffee from starbucks. Caramel frappe for me and chocolate moccha for Anna. I quickly drove to my office, parked my car and took elevator to my office.

Anna was sitting on her small table  working with extreme concentration. Files piled up to into left of table and stationary scattered all over place. She was so engrossed that she didn't notice me walking in. I put her moccha on table. Her head snapped up.

She smiled widely." Damn that dress looks so hot on you."

"Thank you ann." I chirped and went in office to complete my today's schedule.

I just finished meeting with mr. Calvins for his new office. It was a good project. I was driving to mr. Collins's house when my phone went alive.

I accepted the call and turned on the speaker.

"Hey jiggly puff, how's you?" His sweet masculine voice filled my ears.
