The first flight they took to the Bahamas was the Sky Limo, and Aaliyah was reported to seem anxious. Derek Lee said that she wasn't happy about it, saying that she hated planes and especially hated small planes, but she's the kind of girl to just go ahead and do it cause she's gotta go and get it over and done with and she has to do her job. The flight was 45 minutes. Derek Lee said he thought he lied to Aaliyah because he told her it'll be okay, just put your legs on my lap, ring your mum and tell her that you love her and everything will be alright.
